Although it tends to be large pack crowds that boo Khan here in the UK, however when they see him one to one, they are nice to him

    Pack mentality cowards
    Yeah, it's nice to see.

I think people's true intentions are displayed in a 'pack mentality', though. Having followed Khan's career and seen the hate directed towards him it's evident that racism has a big part to play when it comes to his detractors.

Ummmm the crowd he gets for his fights in UK. His fight vs Prescott was on Sky PPV.

Plus it was a mixture of boos and cheers as it was a Froch crowd and both Khan and Froch hate each other if you have been following it.

Khan is popular, hence why Floyd put'em on his card and is perhaps the reason they can save face with their PPV sales.

And most of the fans at fights in the us are casuals, they see a face they kind of recognize and cheer to fit in, there is a long list of things to not like about Khan or at least a long list of things that make you want to see him get sparked again but some random, so he can eat some humble pie, one day Khan and his fans will accept that he will never be top tier elite in the boxing world.
      So, is Maidana elite?

Then again you're one of those who say Khan ducked Bradley.

Maidana fans don't got their own threads to talk about their hero.

Never knew Khan was born in London. You'll always learn something new on NSB.

Most Yanks don't like Mayweather but he still generates the most money.

Funny thing is, they used to say British fans were racist for not liking Khan, but I think now they understand, it's a personality thing.

You only have to look on boxingscene, whenever there's a Khan article the US posters go crazy with hate.

Personally, I think Khan is a good guy who is misperceived. He comes across as arrogant and delusional, but he's really just confident and perhaps not that bright. I don't like to see him getting booed, but I wouldn't worry about it because he's so upbeat it will be water off a duck's back.

The posters (+their several alts) who hate him on here are mostly Mayweather fans (for obvious reasons as Khan been calling him out), its hard to generalize on basis of that.

I've never seen him getting booed at any of his fights that he fought in the States (except for Peterson one as it was in Peterson's Hometown) he normally gets cheered on every fight of his and gets good reception from crowd, same with his press conferences, arrivals etc. The casual fans in the US like him as he has fought some really exciting fights there. You just have you look at the MGM grand arrival , Khan was widely applauded by the fans at the MGM.

I was surprised when Whole crowd at Wembley booed him its hard to imagine someone like Khan getting booed in his own country (He's the youngest Olympian for Britain in boxing also the youngest World champion).

Also some people actually believe those Stories written in the Sun regarding Khan to be true, Its hard to imagine cause the Sun is the most un-reliable source of Newspaper on this planet, the glamour model that Khan was linked up with actually worked for the newspaper.

Some of you need to take a moment and think about your hasty racism conclusions. If the UK was that unanimously racist, would he even be there to begin with?

I understand SLICK americans will call everything racist and crying at the drop of a hat but it's not good to see proud warrior cultures adopting that victim mentality.
I'm from the UK so your assumption is wrong of me. Collazo was a big fight for Khan and a good test at a new weight class and he completely schooled him. He never lost that big fight did he, he never lost the Maidana fight either, he lost to Garcia via a left hook and lost a controversial decision to PEDerson. Need I say more.

In the UK while working at venue when he's fought a dirty majority of the scummy fans that have boo'd him were racists as I could hear it from their own mouths. (They weren't so racist when I got in their faces about it cowards) I do think there are other general fans and allot of them who just plain and simply don't like him which has nothing to do with his ethnic background or beliefs.

Just like I hate Wilder and Froch, nothing to do with their race just can't stand them.
