This is exactly what happened. The only person I saw who got cheered was Frank Bruno.
I think if they showed Jamie Redknapp ( Ex Liverpool footballer) on screen, he would have got booed. Gordon Ramsey on there, he would have booed as well. Khan did get booed. So did Froch and Groves when they were first shown on the big screen before their feet, they were both booed when they came into the ring and Froch got most of the cheers after the KO. I dont even like Khan btw but that crowd booed nearly everyone on screen
I was there last night live. The booing wasn't due to the comments he made, simply because when he spoke on the mic & was on the big screens, you couldn't make out a word he said, or anyone that came on the tv + mic infact. Sound quality wasn't that great in the stadium, but tbh that could just be because it was damn loud with all those fans lol.
I personally was one of the people in the crowd that booed. I use to be a big Khan fan, until i went to see the Paul Mccloskey fight live. I ended up leaving a Mccloskey fan that night & ended up despising Khan. This isn't due to race, but to me personally, it was his fans & his attitude after that fight. By fans, I mean, the disrespect A LOT of them gave the Irish supporters that travelled to support Mccloskey. It was almost a sickening disrespect.
Incase people here didn't realise, every one of the 80k that turned up last night were huge boxing fans. The tickets sold out within a couple hours or were bought for double/triple the price. So everyone there new Khan & yes, i suppose a portion of them may have shared a similar experience as I, or as other people have mentioned, just don't like some of the comments he comes out with lol.
It all boils down to the fact that he's Pakistani. The hatred that I've seen him get is unparalleled. Also, this 'asian' tag that I keep reading needs to be dropped and has become such a loose term as of late.
I'm glad Khan boxes in America. Was at the Khan vs Collazo fight, to my surprise, I met many Americans who genuinely liked him. Even in the arena was sat next to a couple from Oregon, they were cheering more loudly for Khan than I, or my mates.

He gets more cheers in the US thats for sure
Although it tends to be large pack crowds that boo Khan here in the UK, however when they see him one to one, they are nice to him

Not going to happen. Middle Easterners have been historically garbage at sports (apart from cricket). Which is why mediocrity as Khan gathered such popularity.
Why are you talking? You came on my ****** inventions thread only to cheer on TA to come down and argue on your behalf cuz you lack the brain cells to do so. Lucky for you the mod himself couldn't take the thread and deleted it.
Pakistan is not even in Middle East you geographically ******ed moron.

Believe it or not, most of it's down to racism and or him being a ******. The average British person isn't too fond of him being a Pakistani and/or ******. Add to that jealousy and you have people who hate Khan and will discredit anything he does in the ring.
Khan's yapping does get him hate but not to the extent people would bother wasting their energy booing him all day long.
The guy's a Olympic silver medallist. Has been showered in money ever since he won silver. Always in exciting fights with a good resume win, lose or draw. Yes he does yap on about Floyd because in his heart he actually believes he can beat him and be honest who doesn't want Floyd, Khan probably won't earn too much more flighting Floyd than he would fighting Brook but he wants to test himself against the P4P best.
No he's just annoying. He acts like a teenage dork. He mowed a pedestrian down with his car and paralyzed/killed them. He loses his big fights. Etc. He doesn't get booed at his own fights but at Froch fights? Sure.
Some of you need to take a moment and think about your hasty racism conclusions. If the UK was that unanimously racist, would he even be there to begin with?
I understand SLICK americans will call everything racist and crying at the drop of a hat but it's not good to see proud warrior cultures adopting that victim mentality.
