Not going to happen. Middle Easterners have been historically garbage at sports (apart from cricket). Which is why mediocrity as Khan gathered such popularity.

Why was that? Probably cause he had Groves ahead that time or for some other reason? The time Khan's picture came at the Big screen when being interviewed during mid rounds, whole crowd booed him.

Never seen him getting booed like that before. He normally gets a lots of cheers from the crowd in the States, Even when he was fighting Peterson in his Hometown i.e DC the boos weren't as bad as this one.

Because they know what we know.

And most of the fans at fights in the us are casuals, they see a face they kind of recognize and cheer to fit in, there is a long list of things to not like about Khan or at least a long list of things that make you want to see him get sparked again but some random, so he can eat some humble pie, one day Khan and his fans will accept that he will never be top tier elite in the boxing world.

People seem to have a misconception that he is popular in the UK. In my experience is not well liked at all. I have been to a few of his fights here and most people were rooting for whoever he was fighting.

Personally, I don't mind the guy....until he opens his mouth.

I was at Wembley last night.

Khan was booed by everyone - Froch and Groves fans alike.

Not sure why, but it would appear that even the casual fans are sick of 'King' Khan's self promoting and whining.

It made me chuckle to be honest.

I also think the "He is arrogant" excuse is just an excuse, there is an underline racial issue when it comes to Khan over here, people can either be in denial about it or face up to it. Some UK posters here like to sweep it under the carpet with the he is arrogant stuff but Froch is Arrogant, Hatton was arrogant, Calzaghe was arrogant, Lennox Lewis was arrogant, Audley Harrison was arrogant, but none of them went through what Khan had to... Just saying.

Well the Brit fans are fickle as hell.

Froch Vs Groves I:

Froch cheered in like he's the messiah, Groves booed. At the end, Froch booed and Groves cheered.

Froch vs Groves II:

Both got booed in lol and then after Froch won, he was cheered again lol.

If Khan goes on another streak of wins, they'll be back to cheering him.

This is exactly what happened. The only person I saw who got cheered was Frank Bruno.

I think if they showed Jamie Redknapp ( Ex Liverpool footballer) on screen, he would have got booed. Gordon Ramsey on there, he would have been booed as well. Khan did get booed. So did Froch and Groves when they were first shown on the big screen before their fight, they were both booed when they came into the ring and Froch got most of the cheers after the KO. I dont even like Khan btw but that crowd booed nearly everyone on screen

Pretty sure Zidane is French born and raised. Hamed (also UK born and raised) couldn't even speak Hindu. Have you heard his accent?, him and Kell Brook sound like farmers .
