Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr. Congratulates Froch, Ready To Face Him!

Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. watched Carl Froch retains his WBC/WBA 'regular' titles with an eight round knockout of George Groves earlier today on HBO. Julio, who picked Froch to win, was very excited about the ending of the fight. Julio wanted to congratulate Carl Froch on his victory. Also Julio loves the idea of fighting Froch. Julio believes it the biggest fight out there for both.

I would pay to see it! Two fighters with iron chins, going toe to toe! I believe chavez breaks him down though for the first time in froches's career. The body shots of chavez would play a big factor, but i do feel froch could hurt chavez as well....man greedy bob just make the damn fight for us fans that put money in your pocket!!

Sounds like this is the fight Junior really wanted. Now will he sign a new Top Rank contract to make it happen?

This fight will look a lot like Froch vs Abraham

I'm not so sure. Chavez won't cover up and look for one punch.

He'll bring it, and likely take a beating.

But it will be an exciting fight.

                    Make it happen.
