If Chavez takes him serious and has a good camp i see him stopping Carl.
Froch is getting way too much credit for beating a guy who has never fought an elite guy and who he was losing to in both fights until his power saved him. Chavez has a great chin and power in both hands and would be the bigger guy and would slow Froch down on the inside and eventually stop him late imo.

I don't think Chavez power carries to 168. Froch would be the bigger puncher at 168.

The only fighters from 160-175 who would beat Froch are Andre Ward and Bernard Hopkins and I am not sure about Hopkins. Froch would beat Chavez, GGG and Kovalev by knockout or unanimous decision. You are giving too much credit to Chavez, who has NEVER beaten an A-level opponent. People also give too much credit to GGG and Kovalev for beating C-class opponents.

Would be a pretty good fight but Froch would win. Chavez would for once be fighting a guy equal in size, if not bigger and stronger than him. Chavez might even get stopped actually.
