Froch is going to beat Groves down. Kid was doing a number on Froch connecting with almost everything and still almost got KO'd if the ref didn't stop it. Froch wins.

Taylor was whipping his ass until Froch closed his eyes and through that lucky punch. Taylor was already damaged goods when they fought anyways.

It was borderline. Groves was clearly getting up in time, but it's rather likely Froch would just put him down again since he was so shaken from a huge punch.

My main question is why the ref would wave it off so quickly in a fight specifically happening to address a horribly early stoppage the first time around. At least let Groves stumble around and fall back down or whatever to make it clear he's done. No need to coutn to 3 then hold him down.

It was a good stoppage, and thank God Groves isn't complaining this time.

But having said that, there is a 10 count to be made, and I don't think it matters how you look like while you are on the floor, you shouldn't need to act like your not hurt or look poker faced down there. If Groves wanted to he could lie down on the canvas for 8 seconds and spring up at 9 if he wanted to. You just need to look at the golden age of boxing.
