Pinto did beat Cotto twice in the Amateurs so this actually was a very important fight

Damn man if he fights Kirkland u want him dead? Canelo would be a good fight too, I think the fresher younger man wins.

Martinez is overrated but Cotto was never that great to begin with. Fight between overrated bums with no future. #BronerDestroysDem

Ivan Calderon beat Cotto in the amateurs too. According to your logic. Cotto never avengong that in the pros is a blemish on his resume.

Cotto fan gave me two tissues as gifts to wipe my ass and thought it was funny. After the fight he's going need them to wipe his tears. Dealing with Pacquiao fans for so long made me forget how much they defend their fighters. I also remember how much they cry when their fighters lose. I like Cotto but Martinez is just bigger, stronger, faster and better than Cotto. Props to him for taking the fight because Floyd/Manny would not. Cotto is the real super star but have to call it how I see and Martinez is going to thrash him.

Love Cotto! Will be an honor to watch his last few classics! Always exciting!

In a perfect world Cotto beats Sergio, beats Canelo(Tho I believe Lara whoops him) then rematches Floyd with Roach in his corner to end his career going down swinging!

Say what you will but Cotto always takes the tough fights! Never ducked anyone. Fought Cheatorita twice, Manny, Floyd, Trout, Zab, Mosley, Torres, Clottey, Delvin(who at the time many thought was too big and durable), and now Sergio!

Dude belongs in the HOF! If he beats Sergio and Canelo he's a top 100 ATG. If he beats them and Floyd depending on how good this Roach combo is, he's top 50 no doubt!

                      "Idiots." Heh, heh, heh....

Sergio Martinez turns 40 in February. He's a fighter whose style depends on movement and he's had two recent knee surgeries. Miguel Cotto is only 33 years old and relatively healthy. You're going to compare the significance of retirement comments between these two? lol
