Next week saturday to be exact. I can't believe Cotto did the diva crap he did. Even A side Pacman and Floyd usually wouldn't demand to come in last as challengers to a title. And a world title lineal strap to boot.

No worries though, that beat down that's coming his way will learn him real good. I guess that walk to the ring with champion status will be his last. It'll be crazy getting smacked silly in front of your home town.

There's a tendency to hold whatever Cotto's (or any fighter's) fans say against Cotto himself, but I think it's important to remember that he's not the one talking.

The guy is fighting at middleweight against a great, talented fighter. Nobody asked him to do this, and he's not making wild predictions about winning or knocking anyone out. If you pick against him, what did he say? "No hard feelings."

Why on Earth would you not have respect for him?

Is it ok to respect him but still pick against him?

I see you are still traumatized about what Sergio did to Paul Williams. Cotto is not one to get get with the one-punch sucker KO shot. Again, sorry about what happened to the dude in your avi doe.

Off the top of my head. I know for a fact that Pac entered the ring last as the challenger to Hatton's lineal title. And I think Floyd entered the ring last against Ortiz, who was technically the defending champion.

Usually, does not mean "never happened". But Thanks for the input.
