this is what people seem to forget, oscar can hire another schaeffer. they come a dime a dozen. anybody with a degree from a great college can do richard's job.

richard cant just dump oscar and hire another promoter. the only other boxing promoter that comes close to the prestige and money that GBP holds is Arum and Top Rank and they hate richard.

What's richard gonna do? go to al haymon and floyd? one guy being sued and investigated for possibly breaking the Ali Act and the other a volatile personality who doesnt even have a high school education that could end up in jail or shot dead over ****** ignant ****. Neither dont have boxing licenses?

managers or in haymon's case, glorified managers, can also be fired and easily replaced. what is haymon's roster of fighters gonna do if oscar and arum make peace and decide to be vindictive c*nts and freeze haymon and schaeffer out?

I think every true boxing fan on the planet would be hoping that Oscar kicks him out, takes full control and ends the cold war. I believe Oscar is the only one of these high powered promoters that actually loves the sport and really wants to make the best fights. **** Bob and Schaeffer ... but having said that at least Bob would likely be willing to work with Oscar if the price is right Schaefer flat out blocks anything and everything.

of course floyd schaeffer and Haymon would probably try to get together to form their own rival promotional company and restart a cold war situation again there...

Schaefers a nobody? The man built GBP into a powerhouse. GBP was a joke before he got there. Oscar is just a name.

Wrong! Richard has been there since day 1. Oscar had talked about this several times, he talked Richard into quitting his banking job and take the risk with him in starting Golden Boy Promotions because Oscar felt they could become a successful promotion company.
