going off Floyd's comment about no longer working with gbp if Richard wasn't there and assuming Al can move his guys elsewhere

GBP's roster would be decimated if all the Al guys rather work with Richard than Oscar

isn't Floyd the only Haymon guy with an official Showtime contract

I think JUAN doesn't have a contract with tr. He could just cut out top rank and have it promoted solely by gbp in regards to garcia
Yeah apparently it's going to be settled by the end of next week with what's going to happen gbp really don't have a lot of fighters signed to the company I don't think. never seen any hard evidence of who is actually signed to who though

Damn - Floyd's failed ppv is really starting to look like it will have a major impact on the sport.

breaking up the 2nd largest promoting company is no easy feat - floyd's ppv must have flopped even worse than i thuoght for this to happen

Oscar is actually in a very strong position because he can piggy back off Arum and Top Rank

If Al Haymon and Schaefer split up, who can they piggy back off of? If what people are saying about Schaefer having a non competing clause is true and we know Al Haymon can't be both a adviser and a promoter, they have no promotion period. All there fighters would be sitting around doing nothing until they leave Al Haymon and sign with Top Rank or GBP in the first place.

everyone talking about this like it's the death of GBP, it's not. Oscar still has majority control, GBP may suffer financially for a short while with Schaefer and knowing that guy, he'll probably file a law suit but I guarantee GBP/TR will be working on fights by mid 2015 and as I've said for many years, 2015 is when Mayweather/Pacman takes place.

Plus what's all this crap about fighters leaving GBP is Schaefer does and joining Haymon, none of those fools have promotional licenses lol
