Might I suggest that current profitability is not the only metric that matter to investors. Long-term liquidity and consistency sometimes trump current profit margins. In essence, who cares if you can generate revenue today, what about tomorrow and on-going.

GBP\ODLH can see the handwriting on the wall, that outside of the current crop of PPV stars, the well runs dry. Meaning long-term profitability is in jeopardy and if the cold-war continues, then both TR and GBP will be affected.

Post reading, ask yourself: How many current fighters can carry a PPV to 800K plus?

This is why ODLH is moving to merge, and why Arum is willing to accept the merger.

If GBP, with Oscar in complete control, can manage to do business with both HBO and SHO, that would be ideal. The current situation set up by very polarizing people is silly. You can have the most number of fighters in your stable, but if you can't provide fights for them it's useless. Thurman has been complaining about being ducked by a bunch of ducks in his division. HBO would most likely solve this by offering good money for his potential opponents. It's obvious SHO don't have the kind of resources HBO have.

Thurman is managed by AL Haymon. HBO Boxing President Herschman said he will not work with Al Haymon or his fighters. ODH is not going to make HBO work with Al Haymon.

Why can't you just admit this and post what really needs to happen to end the cold war-Herschman needs to be willing to put Haymon managed fighters on HBO.

              whichever way you put it

richard is a scumbag, he needs to put in jail

the guy took the fighters of the company he was working for and signed them over to haymon and then he tried to finance buy the rest but failed

as a ceo, richard has been negligent in his duties, he should be signing guys to golden boy, not behind everyones back signing them to haymon

its clear richard has tried to screw golden boy and steal their fighters to start his own company with haymon

There you go. I expect these fighters to eventually sign up with Oscar. They will have no choice if they're starving. Managers are supposed to provide jobs for their clients. Look at some of their fighters that are now fighting an average of one fight a year, Guerrero, Matthysse, Berto, Khan, and many that don't have such names.

mayweather needs golden boy fighters too remember, all golden boy needs to say is f off and he is screwed, top rank and hbo would not even touch that dollar stealing trash with a broom stick

without golden boy, there are no guys for him to fight, apart from maybe khan, the rest will be a huge huge flop, with khan, at least he will only lose showtime the standard 20-30m if he fights khan instead of more with the rest

plus, there is nobody to promote them unless he hires the lesser known ones with a licence

Legally he is still only their manager, not their promoter. If they are not bound by a promotional agreement they can choose to go in the direction they want, but the ones that are signed in a GBP promotional contract, will have to respect that contract.
