I'm a huge Cotto fan and the only fight with an * should be the Margarito fight. Manny did him in but it had nothing to do with steroids, I think the weight draining helped, Cotto's lack of trainer and the BIGGEST reason was the Margarito beat down. Cotto didn't get over that victory until he won the rematch it just REALLY affected him after the Manny fight. I think that Cotto was the worst version of Cotto anyone has ever faced and he still gave Manny problems.
He gave Mayweather his toughest fight (admission from Mayweather himself) and that actually raised his stock. The Trout fight was the 2nd worst version of Cotto I've ever seen, his trainer had good boxing knowledge but the guy had no clue on physical conditioning, you could tell by how bloated Cotto's face was, also I think Cotto took Trout lightly especially off of that Mayweather performance. I'm not making excuses, simply reasons as to why I think he lost his fights. I wouldn't say an * is needed on anything but the first Marg fight, but if Cotto were to face Manny and Trout I think he'd beat them both now. I REALLY want to see him against Floyd again, I would still favor Floyd in a rematch like I did the first fight, but I give Cotto a better chance than just about anyone from 154 down.Comment

That fight also has an asterisk next to it since Danny took Herrera lightly upon hearing he was a plumber.Comment

Everyone on here is a certified nutritionist doe.Pac started very young at 106lbs but if you look at body type and over all size he is only slightly smaller than Mayweather and fellows like Cotto. Look at his legs, his thighs are lean and his calfs are huge. His shoulder width is only slightly smaller and his reach is fine in comparison to his competitions.
Ali was 5'10" and 156lbs at junior middleweight as a kid! Kids grow up and even when a lot of height growth isn't apparent their bodies thicken and maturity adds muscle and denseness. All of these welters are actually blown up junior welters and lightweights anyway.
