Two completely different scenarios and trying to compare them is pointless reaching.

Of course, the Stevenson defenders claim that Golovkin "gets a pass" because of race, meanwhile the only reason many of them are defending Stevenson in the first place is because of race. Its really ****** and people ought to just let it go.

Nice race baiting; but Stevenson split.

Don't worry Kathy Duva took them all to court, it will all be straightened out.

To better prepare for it, it's best not to jump at an opponent like that, at least not right away. Don't see how thats hard to understand.
But the same theory could be applied to Ward who physically will be at a disadvantage at 175. Every fighter is at a disadvantage moving up. I don't understand why Golovkin's case is treated more preciously.

Ward at only 18/19 fights was thrown into the wolves for the Super Six. Rigo on his 12th fought Donaire, while Lomachenko on his second is taking on Gary Russell. I don't understand how Golovkin the so-called most feared fighter in the sport with a wealth of amateur experience can't move up to challenge himself - everyone just seems to be content with him feasting on no hopers at 160.

If Golovkin didn't think he was capable fighting at 168, why call out everyone.

          But we're getting off point.

I just think a spade, should be called a spade at the end of the day.

I find it hilarious that you're trying to compare Stevenson/Kovalev to Golovkin/Ward. They aren't alike at all, but you're so desperate to hate Golovkin that you reach to make them the same.

yeah exactly, after he went to showtime. he **** himself when asked about kovalev on saturday. he responded with much glee when asked about fighting hopkins, shouting to the crowd 'who wants to see me fight hopkins?', then when asked about kovalev, the response was 'i'll speak to haymon'. LOLOL

You're jumping to conclusions, no one brought up hate. I think Golovkin is a great fighter. I'm just calling it how I see it.

He's 30, not 20. There's no better age than now to start challenging yourself.

Edmond don't lose me here now I gathered respect for you here after the funny gif post. Golovkin is a MW, Ward is a SMW, the comparison between him and Stevenson is
ridiculous. Stevenson is clearly ducking a guy in his own division whereas GGG is actively fighting the best at his own weight, once hus division dries out and he's bulldozed through them he will call out Ward.

I see it as more out of respect for Ward, that's how I've always seen it.
