When it comes down to it, Ruslan lost to Bradley. Same way Matthysse lost to Alexander, Judah, and Garcia. Feather fisted Bradley busted up Provodnikov's face and had Freddie Roach thinking about stopping the fight late. The fight was close, but Bradley won it

Matthysse and Provodnikov are about the same age I think. Ruslan has had less fights, but he isn't some young up and coming fighter. He takes a lot of punishment in his fights. He's not going to get much better than he already is and he isn't that great
I don't all the way agree that Matt's has better wins..I mean both best wins are over mid level fighters..Not to mention 1x Champs(Peterson and Alvarado),I think an argument can be made either way tbh..

Really? Beating Peterson and Soto is more impressive than beating Alvarado and who else? Before Provodnikov Alvarado was known for going 1-1 against Rios and nearly getting outboxed against Prescott

I think what should also be noted is that Ruslans best win was his last fight.

Matthysee's was 3 fights ago and since then he lost to Danny... And then In his last fight got dropped twice.

At this moment right now, Prov KOs Matthysse. IMO

That, plus it appears Ruslan was dealing with that shoulder injury and basically sparred porter while only using his left arm. Sparring rumors are just that but if Ruslan could only use one arm, that would explain it.

Maidana and Matthysse are so overrated it's mindblowing. Matthysse is done if he fights Provodnikov.

Come on bro,Soto??You can't be serious with that **** there..Like I said,Alvarado and Peterson are very comparable opponents..Those are both guy's best wins..I don't count Soto who was clearly past it and not at his best weight..You'd done better to bring up Ajose..

Yeah seriously. Let's play a game.
The first person to spot muscle definition on Soto wins.
This game goes on for eternity.

Since, my earlier post didn't get a reply I'll say it again, so tell me TS:

Who and for what was Lucas fighting in his 25th fight? Compare that to Provodnikov.

What in gods name does that even matter? Every boxer on the planet takes steps at different ages, fights, and times.

Per boxrec, he fought Vivian Harris and Judah two fights later.

Ya, Soto. The guy who had never been stopped before. The guy on a 15 fight win streak. The guy who has won 5 straight after the Matthysse fight. Extremely underrated win.
