Bradley gets dropped all the time. Maidana has been dropped multiple times. Marquez has been dropped multiple times... You're putting too much stock into getting dropped. It doesn't mean much if the fighter can recover well.

And who cares if losing to Bradley is better than losing to Danny Garcia. Matthysse has better wins and has stopped better fighters.

I fact, besides shop worn Alvarado, who has this mythical beast ever stopped that was any good? Not that I rate Alvarado high at all. Especially not after his two fights with Rios.

Maidana and Matthysse put the beast to sleep.

Tired of hearing about him. He has no thought process inside the ring, no defense, gasses by rd 6, and is reduced to fighting in spots and chasing his opponent while doing nothing.
While DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley is no world class champion this guy is a tough veteran.
He's fought many great fighters including Judah, Mayweather, Cotto, Alexander, Bailey, Witter, Maidana.

None of these guys were able to KO Corley either. The TKO that Cotto had against him in Puerto Rico was a hometown stoppage, and I remember the HBO crew commenting on that.

Actually all his fame is from taking a top P4P guy to the brink in a FOTY. Alvarado was the cherry on top.

Putting too much stock? With a different referee, Ruslan beats Bradley. That trumps anybody Lucas has beat, and even if he would of beat Garcia.

Lucas had had like 15 more fights. Ruslan has only had 25 fights. By the time of his 23rd fight... Ruslan arguably beat and concussed Bradley. By the time of Matthyssees 25th fight he hadn't even fought a world class fighter yet.

Ruslans time is now. He's still coming up.

Hey man Lucas beat Ramon Duran. I mean he's no Roberto, but he's still a duran!! Better than any of ruslans wins

I don't have Lucas losing to Alexander or Judah. He's got a solid resume and in my estimation should only have one loss to Danny Garcia. So I think he's probably fought more top guys but the arguable win against Bradley (counting missed KD's) is easily the best fight on either man's resume.

Stop with these what if's. Mattyhsse has the better wins period.

When it comes down to it, Ruslan lost to Bradley. Same way Matthysse lost to Alexander, Judah, and Garcia. Feather fisted Bradley busted up Provodnikov's face and had Freddie Roach thinking about stopping the fight late. The fight was close, but Bradley won it

Matthysse and Provodnikov are about the same age I think. Ruslan has had less fights, but he isn't some young up and coming fighter. He takes a lot of punishment in his fights. He's not going to get much better than he already is and he isn't that great

IMO, Molina needs to bulk up and move up 1 more weight class. There's too much emphasis on weight draining in boxing and it hurts a lot of good fighters.

As far as hitting hard goes , it depends on the delivery of your punches and what style the fighter uses. Molina can land really hard shots from distance and mid range , while Provo is more of mid range power puncher.
Some punchers are really hard hitting with hooks while some are devastating with overhand or straight rights.

They both hit hard but Molina has overall more power than Ruslan.

Sparring doesn't mean crap. I'm not saying Porter wouldn't beat Ruslan, I'm just saying that sparring is sparring.

I agree with this,3G also does this very well..Prov also has very good inside fighting skills as well..I think Matt's would be a harder fight for Prov then Maidana..I think Prov breaks Maidana tbh..
