  • Danny Garcia vs Ruslan Provodnikov, who wins?

Why are people talking a Matthysse rematch when this is the fight we should get to close the year? Unification fight we would all watch.

I want to say Ruslan TKO, but who knows.

hell of a fight but the way provodnikov fought his last two fights he was like a possessed maniac, if he fights like that against garcia he wins no doubt

People underrating Garcia again.....Provonikov was soundly beaten by Herrera too.

Garcia can handle fighters like Provonikov, he's shown that. Still, a pretty close pick em fight right now probably.

i dunno, ruslans come forward, face first style against a proven fighter with an incredible chin with arguably one of the best left hooks in the game that finds its home if you're not a smart technical boxer like a herrera … i like danny in this one.

Very interesting bout on paper. Danny however is the much more skilled of the two. However, Provo is one of the most durable forces in the sport, mix in his power punching, things can get pretty complicated for Garcia if he approaches it the same way he did against Lucas. Ruslan will not fold and will put Danny's will to the test as well as chin. This fight is a toss up but gotta give Garcia slight edge based on skill set.

Provonikov isn't nearly as crafty as Herrera.....it's actually crazy thinking now that Mike Alvarado soundly beat Herrera. Herrera should have W's over Danny and Provonikov. He's crafty, avoided Garcia's left hand, was effective with his jab.

Provonikov would attempt to bum rush Garcia all night, eating left hooks. I see it playing out similar to Garcia-Lucas.

Styles make fights. Second, Lucas does not possess the iron chin of Provo. Ruslan is a rock who throws his punches in a much more technically precise way than Lucas does. Those qualities alone make for a very interesting bout.

I lean towards Garcia by decision possibly a late stoppage due to cuts/swelling.

I am a fan of Ruslan but he gets overrated on here, big time. He beat Mike Avocado and suddenly he is this animal that rips everything apart in its path.

He has no defense & just follows guys, he is rather poor unless a guy stands right in front of him if the truth be told.

Gotta take Garcia in this by late stoppage or easy decision. Dannys left hook would make the bleeder go for broke and end up breaking.
