Rios can be outboxed but Chaves isnt a boxer. I have no idea what people have seen from Rios to predict him being outslugged and knocked out especially against a guy we've only seen lose to another fighter who has yet to really be tested. Chaves performed well against Keith, but Rios has performed just as well against more name fighters than one. Tough fight to call, but I'd bet on Rios based off experience.

Seriously, this dude has some sort of sick mental issues to continue taking beatings like this, someone needs to save him from himself.
If he faces a boxer he'll take an automatic loss so yea fighting these type of guys are his best bet to stay relevant

Rios vs Chavez is gonna be a great fight.. Could be the last hurrah for rios if he loses..

This will be interesting because Chavez is no world-beater but he looked very capable early vs Thurman. Looking forward to see how rios does vs him

That is a real tough fight for Rios but should be a solid fight as long as Rios lets his hands go.

Rios was always going to struggle the more he moved up in weight. The fact that he can't even squeeze down to 140 is bad news for him. Against full sized WW's this dude has no advantages at all.

Good fight, could well be a FOTY candidate.

On the fence as I do not rate either guy but their styles will provide a great fight. You've got one who put in an okay performance against an unproven and rather vulnerable looking Thurman and has done sod all else but struggle against bums then you've got Rios who is in boxing terms a punchbag. Its more movement Rios struggles with, Chavez has slow ass feet. Hmm IDK for this one

Diego Chaves gave Thurman the hardest fight I've ever seen Thurman in, Chaves is gonna shoulder roll that Rios right hand and counter with a straight right all night long, I hope I'm wrong but Rios loses, he's fighting someone more dangerous and technically sound than Alvarado
