Chaves quit against Thurman. Watch closely the last shot didn't even land, and he decided to go down and stay down.
    He'll quit again.

Even if true, Rios doesn't have the power to make him quit. Chaves stops Rios.

I'll take any bets if anyone interested.

Great post Chaves is similar to Alvarado except he's bigger stronger and has more power. Bad times are in store for Rios. Why do people think he has an indestructible chin. See the Ortega fight, the Acosta fight, Alvarado rocked him, Pacquiao hurt him to the body all those guys were smaller guys without the kind of power Chaves has.

Wtf you on about son? Thurman landed some vicious shots on him, he didn't quit.

Rios has a very good chin and is resilient, if Chaves stops him, it says a lot about his power.

I'm most excited for Kovalev's return. I hope he fights Braehmer or Chilemba.

              Good fight.

And interesting that it might wind up in Fresno...Top Rank seems to be building something there with Jose Ramirez and Gary Salazar.

Thurman was a big step up for Chavez, I think he will be better because of that fight.

I'm a big Rios fan , but when was he not given his props? When he was fighting at lightweight people considered him the beast of the division. Rios vs Marquez was the fight everyone wanted. Then Abril outclassed him and his hype dropped. Then he beat Alvarado, a guy who is great to watch but not a great fighter, and he got all the credit in the world. He was going to be the guy to fight Manny. Then when Manny got ko'd he took the alvarado rematch and lost and then got dominated against Manny, so his hype is obviously low now. I could see you saying people may be underrating him now (bc I think they are) but you said after he beats Chaves people won't give him props, when was he not given props after a win (other than Abril bc it was completely undeserved)?
