the idiots that say mayweather fought that way on purpose are delusional... yes floyd got beat up and got very close to taking a L on purpose.... sure. I had floyd up by 1 pt but it was a hellacious fight and maidana did everything he needed to in the fight game so quit crying about his bullying tactics when mayweather fought just as dirty, holding, pushing and forearming maidanas face

You're wrong when you say fear is a factor in Floyd's decision. It is not at all. Floyd easily won the first fight and will dominate the second fight.

It's a pointless rematch because the rematch will resemble the first fight. The first fight was competitive and a lot people exaggerated Maidana's success in that fight, but the majority of credible reporters, fighters, trainers, etc, thought he lost. Floyd has three fights left and i'd rather see him fight three different opponents. Maidana had his chance, someone else should get a chance against Floyd in September. Floyd is a stubborn guy, so i think he'll strongly consider giving Maidana a rematch to prove a point, but I'd bet anything that the rematch would resemble the first fight with Maidana forcing him to fight against the ropes again.

Rematch idk. We got to remember mayweather is the boxer and he'll be the one making qdjusments. Maidana won't change a thing n that's y mayweather wins a rematch. Usually technicians get better through the series not the brawler. Many examples for that logic but biggest one Duran vs Leonard. Its not gone be like marquez n Pac. Morales n Barrera. Mayweather will dominate but at one point I did ghave maidana up by 3 rds but i felt may close the show edged him by 2rds

Considering most people didn't expect that fight to be as competitive as it was I think a rematch does good numbers.

I said it from the beginning, this mofo pu ssy won't give Maidana a rematch. He'll look for a dozen excuses to avoid the beating Maidana will give him.

It's funny how he says he doesn't want to fight anyone else, but Mayweather. He needs to go back to the drawing board because there weren't any outrageous controversy buzz about the decision of the fight the way there was for, [Pacquiao-Marquez III, Pacquiao-Bradley I] simply because he clearly didn't performed as great as some people thought he did. Outside of this forum and other boxing forums, no one gives a **** about wanting to see them fight again. I really hope Floyd fight someone else. It's waste of time to fight the same guy twice when you only have a few fights left and there are a lot of other opponents on the roster who'd make for more interesting and entertaining fights.
