This seems to be a current theme with you. Can you let me know what you think current #2 guy Povetkin does better than say a Ken Norton.

Break that down for me please.
No, you go ahead and break it down for me.

Lifting weights is not essential for boxers , it can even be detrimental in fact. Lifting too much will make you slower and won't make you hit any harder.

Punching is a snapping motion, not a pushing motion, if something the extra muscle mass can help in a clinch, that's about it.

As for Foreman , if a guy like prime Foreman was to fight the guys Wlad is facing (or Wlad himself) there would be people dying in the ring.

Well exactly, and carrying more pounds being a heavy fighter is easily an advantage, which means that a little faqqot like LacedUp would hardly survive a real fight vs ME!!!

No, it is not , not necessarily. Unless one plans to fight like Wlad vs Povketin of course , but we are talking boxing here, not sumo wrestling

A body frame is made for a certain ideal weight , too much muscle mass will not only affect speed but also aerobic and anaerobioc resistance.

In other words, get too bulky and after 4 rounds you start panting after every punch you throw. Not only, every punch will hurt more when you are tired, and being too heavy won't help you if you need to get on your bicycle.

I thought that would be your response.

Because, as we both know, you haven't watched these guys fight. Hell, you've probably only seen one or two of Povetkin's fights.

I'll give it a go, he is probably equivalent skill wise to Norton. Except far stronger.

He packs a massively harder punch and can take a much harder punch.

He can fight on the inside much better than Norton too which apparently, modern fighters have forgotten how to do, fancy that!

Also he would never get wasted by a little bum like Earnie Shavers!

Wach, Pianeta and Leapai were not the best opponents WK has faced.

Yet Wach was an experienced and undefeated fighter who out-talled and out-weighed WK and was even roided to the gills. He also has among the hardest chins of all time.

Pianeta, another very strong, heavy, tall undefeated opponent with nearly 30 fights experience.

Leapai- the worst opponent in a while, a squat, heavy, thick bull-type fighter with a big punch and good chin and decent record.

Please note none of these opponents ever padded their records with CW's

If those 3 are the ****test opponents Wlad has faced then bloody hell, WK definitely has an excellent resume, wouldn't you say?

And he beat them soundly too.

A certain other champion from a beloved era of yours fought rubbish opponents too, yet ones lighter, with really bad records and terrible physiques.
