He wants people to think he is, but he isn't, he won't answer that question to retain an element of mystique.Comment

you can have all the money in the world if you dont have a promoter's license it wont matter.
what happens if oscar becomes vindictive and refuses to work with haymon?
what's haymon gonna do? work with arum?
Promoters > Managers
people will know soon enough. Haymon power is more overrated than floyd's resume.Comment

Looks like he'll be forcing his way out of boxing then. At some point, no matter how power hungry one is, they still have to learn to work with others.Comment

and there it is.
there's a reason why floyd and haymon still use GBP.
they dont have a license. and if oscar decides to act like a vindictive tw@t and refuse to do business with haymon, what's haymon gonna do?
haymon's reach, power, and influence have been grossly exaggerated by the you know who crowd.Comment

We also can assume that many on that list, who are promoted by Oscar, may cut ties with Haymon as a show of good faith to Oscar.
I am not sure what role Haymon has in their contracts, but if it is strictly a managerial contract, a fighter can fire him. Andre Dirrell did a year or two ago.Comment
