For Bradley vs. Pacquaio 2, the numbers are expensive too, yet I don't hear any of you talking about HBO losing money, or going broke.

According to Bob Arum, Pacquaio got a $20 million guarantee, while Bradley got a $6 million guarantee. That is $26 million right there, plus the undercard which was around $600K total.

And what were the PPV numbers, supposedly under 750K?

why do people care about ppv numbers? who give a ****? how about they make the fights we want to see. Floyd and Manny are gonna make their money regardless, networks are taking losses not them. Hopefully this will spark some cooperation between both toprank and goldenboy and when can get some good match ups.

I don't think we will be seeing to many PPV buys over 1 million because there are to many of them.

              Floyd fighting 2x a year
              Pac fighting 2x a year
              Canelo fighting 3x a year

Floyd and Canelo should fight on the same card again in the future.
Pac needs to have better under cards maybe him and Cotto on the same card.

Both cards should at least do 1.5 mil easy

Its clear with these numbers that Canelo is the real cash cow. Since Mayweather fought Mosley in 2010 he had Canelo on the undercard up until last year. The JMM fight before barely reached 1 million despite Marquez, the biggest Mexican draw at the time, on Independance Day
Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto all did amazing PPV numbers.
Canelo refuses to fight on the Guerrero undercard, does sub 1million PPV.
Floyd fights Canelo, biggest money fight of all time.
Floyd goes it alone against Maidana despite Khan and Broner on the undercard, sub 1 million PPV's. Men lie, women lie, but numbers don't.

If you can't detect the sarcasm in this post you should cancel your internet service. Its causing you too much stress.....

There are A LOT OF HATERS. Floyd is the modern day Ali (not in a political sense). Ali knew that people would come to see him lose, and he didn't care, as long as they came. Floyd took the blueprint and ran with that. He's made way more money since he took on the "MONEY MAYWEATHER" persona. That's no accident.

Ali is not Rich Coward and obviously not "Health comes first" boxer... so where did you get that idea? lol!

I cannot understand why people keep paying for PPV. It is rare that a fight is actually worthy of paying for these days, but even then "good fights" are overshadowed by controversial issues.

I understand FMJ is a business man, but the glove stunt was a **** move and he knew it. But even after that 900,000 people paid to watch him laugh at them for 45 minutes.

No wonder he is always smiling, He doesn't need hard fights to make a living.
