So Jim Lampley is sure that the Cold War isn't going to end anytime soon.

Broner and Maidana are both signed with Al-Haymon and they fought each other. Collazo and Khan are also both signed to Haymon, and they fought each other. Molina and Matthysse, both with Haymon. Lara and Canelo are both with Golden Boy and they ARE fighting each other soon. You guys like to follow your imaginations rather than reality.
But, but... would you not have preferred Broner vs Matthysse? Or Khan vs Broner? Give me your best logic.

exactly. being the ceo of a company and actively working against it is one of the slimiest things you can do. guess we shouldn't expect less from a swiss banker and a stalker/****** fan

Take a look at the recent GGG vs Quillin talks. GGG's people sent in an offer to Golden Boy, but golden boy countered with a bidding process to see where the fight gets aired. I guarantee you HBO and Showtime will balk at such a thing. They will both stick to their ground. We are unfortunately stuck with fighters who are destined to not only promotional barriers, but also glued to network branding.
To me this is currently the bigger issue. You hit the nail on the head.

Oscar needs to make a big move.
That seems to be the case. Schaefer is not working for GBP. He's working for Schaefer and Haymon, and hopes that Hoya disappears. Fact that Schaefer is more interested in making Molina vs Herrera is very telling.
