The closest fight that could had been done on that list was the Margo fight but he went and fought Judah even after the loss because the fight was signed already.

Williams would had been a good fight but Paul did him self the de-service of going up and down in weight instead of staying put and becoming the man to beat at 147. Losing to Quintana didn't help his case too much.

A lot of fighters avoided Floyd when he was younger. Now that he is the cash cow they are willing to face him

Mayweather was talking about how close he and Stevie Johnston were (not sure if this has any relevance to why they didnt fight) and he was talking about how he was training with him and sparred with him as he was coming up. They were close enough to the point Stevies wife would ask Floyd if he saw Johnston when he would not come home after a drinking binge. It was talked about in one of the Mayweather videos.

Either way....I have a hard time believing any of their boxing styles would give Mayweather problems even back then. Castillo would give Mayweather problems 10 out of 10 times and that fight is greater than a Freitas, Casamayor, Margarito (do we really need to see this fight, Cotto was teeing off until he wore himself out).

If someone says Floyd avoided ANYONE from 1998-2005 clearly didn't watch or follow it....he was the guy being avoided back then. He wasn't a huge name or a big payday, and was seen as a huge risk. Only once he transformed himself into a PPV attraction could anyone possibly have a gripe. Even then, in 2006 Mosley openly wanted nothing to do with fighting Floyd, neither did Cotto in 2005-2006. But when Floyd split from Arum in 2006, all of a sudden in 2007-2008 Floyd was ducking Cotto and co.

Only fight Floyd turned down prior to 2006 was Stevie Johnston, for whatever reason. I have a hard time thinking Floyd didn't want to fight him though.
I think Floyd didn't want to fight him. I don't know why but it seems he didn't.

He called out Johnston after the Castillo fight, amongst others.

So Johnston was availble for Floyd after that fight but he turned it down and offered Lazcano the fight instead but then Lazcano turned it down so Floyd fought Sosa.

Johnston then fought Lazcano in the Elimator for Floyd's belt to try and get himself into position but Lazcano beat him.

I have no idea why Floyd didn't fight Johnston, genuinely no idea but he turned it down.

Their is NONE. Skill for Skill Floyd is the GREATEST fighter in history and their will NEVER be a fighter this perfect EVER
Firstly, I've seen you post this before. Secondly, what do you mean by 'hissed'? If you mean 'hurt', Floyd was hurt twice in 1 round by a 38-year-old Mosley. Thirdly, the greatest fighter in history would not need to duck fighters, drag opponents up from lower divisions, cheat fighters on the scales, drain young fighters who are still growing, bribe opponents into wearing different gloves, go on holiday when your division heats up, etc.

If you just look purely at names that were around when he fought that he didn't fight, those would have been solid fights. If you watched boxing over this whole period, you do realize other things were at play in about every case (injury, losing key fights, short time frames they were viable, leaving a company and not wanting to get tied back up by them)

Does that mean the fights wouldn't have been good wins for him, of course not but in boxing **** happens. More like a could than a should~
