did people here really expected this fight to reach a million? i didn't.
Mayweather-Maidana does 854,000 PPV buys?

floyd always did do a little higher than manny so i dont know where ur trying to go with that. but its not like floyd is doing 1mil+ while pac is averaging 500k. if floyd does 1.3mil in his last fight then pac will usually do 1mil even. what i was saying is that manny/bradley 2, everyone already saw what happen in the first fight and most felt pac won so why pay to see it again? and for floyd/maidana, most felt maidana will be a walk in the park for floyd, just look at the odds so why pay for it? this is the reasons why i think their ppv #'s is low as of recent.Comment

Very valid point. That's on Showtime's shoulders. Mayweather brought 850K (at least) to buy his fight vs. Maidana. I don't know how much more you can ask from him.Comment

CBS has more resources they can divert to showtime if there is a fight to be made.Comment

That was a low number. I'm quite surprised as I've read here on boxingscene that Floyd is a major draw.Comment

the price has been at $60+ for their last couple fights, so its not like it just went up from $49 to $60-70 over night, and they both was still doing better numbers then. The price is not so much the problem here, we know people will pay if its something they really want to see. its the match ups that is turning the people off IMO.Comment

I am just interested in the reasons why manny is averaging less than 600k (again if the numbers are true) for his last 2 fights and floyd is at about 850k in his last 2 non Canelo fights.Comment
