Maidana's body punches didn't have leverage? He looked like he was working the heavybag in there.

It wasn't even a close round? Okay, I know where your mind is. I'm arguing done with you. You must have thought Floyd pitched a shutout.
You've obviously never been in a boxing ring. Have you ever been jabbed to the pit of your stomach? It is one of THE most effective punches Floyd has in his arsenal and it is THE reason Maidana slowed down in the second half of the bout.

Half the punches Mayweather landed in the video either didn't land hard or are grazing punches. lol.

This isn't amateur boxing either, where a grazing jab counts the same as a left hook to the liver or a right hook to the head. Maidana was also clearly dictating the pace of the round forcing Mayweather on the ropes, lowering his output and making him fight his fight.

There was another instance (I don't remember the round) where he countered Floyd's right with his own and seemed to buckle Floyd's feet.
Look at Maidana at end of 9th, he was hurt

By handled do you mean losing 8 to 9 rounds? Your bias is showing, and it isn't pretty.

find a proffessional boxing writer thats not a prick that gave it to maidana.
floyd made this one closer then it should of been because of the flack he was getting for fighting someone that wasnt in the top ten.
plus it raises the negative lacky talk so's his compitition thinks he's loosin it.

After rewatching the bout I can CLEARLY give Maidana 1,5 and 8. If I am in an overly generous mood I'll give him 12. No more than that. On first watch I thought he won 4 of the first 5 rounds. Negative. He only won 3 MAYBE 4 rounds. Reminds me of the Cotto bout.

floyd diminished maidana's performance by calling it a wrestling match. he did most of the clinching and he actually had to box on his toes in this one. his bread and butter punches weren't as frequent because marcos was actually setting traps for them and occasionally countering him back.

robert garcia studied the tapes very well. when floyd jabbed to the body, maidana countered with a left hook that almost looked like an uppercut. when floyd jabbed to the head, maidana threw a quick right to the body under the jab.
