Maidana Clear rds: 1, 5, 8 want to say 12 because May clearly didnt do anything, but I wont.
May clear rds: 2, 7, 9, 10
Close rds 3, 4, 6, 11, 12
How people say this was so easy to judge is beyond me.... Also people say 11 wasn't close? Then why did the dude why had it 117-111 give it to Maidana?
The scores could have easily ranged from 8-4 Maidana to 9-3 Floyd.
That's because he is the harder puncher of the two. Everybody in boxing knew that before the fight began.
And I know blocked punches hurt but they are not scoring blows. Read the rules and stop making up your own scoring criteria. I understand your position. My favorite fighters have lost close fights too and I had the same "I'm right and everybody else is a biased fanboy" mentality that you have now. It happens.
Well I am right.... As for what you are, I'll let you define yourself.
Blocked punches can hurt, sure, I'm not just talking about that though. I'm talking about punches that go through a guard or behind the guard. Such punches are not blocked they just appear to be to an untrained eye. Happens.
If it's recognized that Maidana hits undoubtedly harder, why am I wrangling back and forth with Floyd fans that want to tell me a Floyd hit to the body or right hand is better than a clubbing right behind Floyd's guard or a left hook thunderous body shot?
It's like you acknowledge Maidana's power at a surface level but then don't apply it to your theory when scoring the fight.
Honestly... By your logic PBP, Canelo lost to Trout and Broner lost to Malignaggi.
I guess you are incapable of doing the exact same thing. That's what I see you doing.
Floyd danced around after rubbed his eys and landed pot shots on Maidanas gloves. He didn't win that rd.
2 counter right uppercuts, powerful lead left hook to the body, 2 punch combination off the ropes, 3-4 counter left hooks to the head, all whilst being bothered by a cut. Give up, we all see the bitterness in you. The bold, none were blocked though.

Boxing is scored by the rounds. The 5 rounds I gave to Maidana I did score his work. You acting as if everybody scored the fight 12-0 Mayweather. Fact of the matter is Floyd won more rounds. Simple as that. You have to literally give Maidana EVERY SINGLE CLOSE ROUND IN THE FIGHT to arrive at a draw or if you want to stretch it even further, give him another round and give him a gift decision.
And no, those 2 fights were NOTHING like Floyd vs. Maidana. In fact, I would say Canelo and Broner were more comparable to Floyd because it wasn't about volume/activity; in all 3 cases it was about who landed the cleaner, more effective punches in the scoring zone.
The judges score cards were 100% fair. One judge gave Maidana all of the close rounds. One judge gave Floyd all of the close rounds. The 3rd judge gave Floyd the 3rd and 4th and Maidana the 12th.
You guys are literally complaining because EVERY SINGLE CLOSE ROUND IN THE FIGHT wasn't purchased, wrapped and gifted with a Bow-tie and a Valentine's Day card for Maidana.
LOL my bias? Jesus Christ. Maidana dictated the pace of the fight, was more active and landed more punches.
And don't give me the ShoStats; Floyd fans said they didn't matter in the Castillo 1 fight so why should they matter now 44-1-1
Being more active is not winning a fight. Also HE DID NOT land more punches. Unless you count punches to the back of the head, the back and the shoulders. ONCE AGAIN your bias is showing and it's grotesque.
