find a proffessional boxing writer thats not a prick that gave it to maidana.
floyd made this one closer then it should of been because of the flack he was getting for fighting someone that wasnt in the top ten.
plus it raises the negative lacky talk so's his compitition thinks he's loosin it.
With all the punches Maidana threw he never hurt Mayweather or shall I say Mayweather was never visibly hurt.

I thought there were a couple times where he bucked Floyd. In one instance (3rd round) he hit Floyd hard with a power jab that buckled him to the ropes and followed it with a right hand while Floyd was still a bit stunned. There was another instance (I don't remember the round) where he countered Floyd's right with his own and seemed to buckle Floyd's feet.

maidana deserved at least a draw.

it was hard to give confidently give mayweather many early rounds since it looked like he was on defense the whole time landing several while maidana was bombarding him non stop

Lmao at anyone give floyd any of the first 6 rounds

He got worked. Maidana clearly won 8 and 12. You could also say he won 11

For a guy who didn't land many punches clean on Floyd... Explain this.

If you look at Golovkins profile there's a left hook that Maidana landed and Floyd's entire body shook.

Maidana's body punches didn't have leverage? He looked like he was working the heavybag in there.

It wasn't even a close round? Okay, I know where your mind is. I'm arguing done with you. You must have thought Floyd pitched a shutout.
Honestly I know it's fashionable to act oblivious to the technicality of what is boxing, only to remain bias. Maidana was either fearful that Mayweather would slide out of the corner or used his right hand to control Mayweather, this prohibited him from getting more leverage.

In none of those instances did I think he was hurt in a boxing sense.

With that as context, it's hard for me to count one May punch as = to one Maidana punch. May had impressive things he did in the fight, I like how he takes a punch for one. I guess that and his established ness is what makes people put Chino and May on an evil playing field when it comes to counting shots landed. To me Maidana was undoubtedly the harder puncher of the two.

Clean is in there but so is effective. I'd say the most damaging punches are the most effective ones. Anyone been in the ring knows a punch can hit you right through your guard, and behind it, even if it seems to the fanboys and laymen as if the punches are being blocked.
That's because he is the harder puncher of the two. Everybody in boxing knew that before the fight began.

And I know blocked punches hurt but they are not scoring blows. Read the rules and stop making up your own scoring criteria. I understand your position. My favorite fighters have lost close fights too and I had the same "I'm right and everybody else is a biased fanboy" mentality that you have now. It happens.

Every judge should be aware of the scoring zone. The method for establishing the scoring zone starts at the top center of the head, with an imaginary line continuing down the sides of the head through the ears, down to and including the shoulders to the naval and hipbones. Caution should be taken in using the beltline, due to boxers keeping the trunks high above the navel. Any punch delivered outside of the scoring zone should not be considered when scoring the bout.

The test to measure the awarding of points for “offensive boxing” should be the number of direct, clean punches delivered with the knuckle part of the closed glove on any part of the scoring zone of the opponent’s body above the belt line. The judges should also consider the effect of blows received versus the number of punches delivered.

Punches that are blocked or deflected should not be considered in tabulating your score.

That's not from being hurt though.

Lol, who would've expected floyd to be scrounging for rounds against Maidana. Credit to Marcos for going in with the right game plan.
