It will be more like the first Tony Thompson fight in 2008. Both Thompson and Pulev are big, crafty, awkward (although Pulev isn't a southpaw) and durable.

Tough fight, I expect Wlad wins this one by UD or late KO/TKO.
Yea, Wlad is way too athletic and physical for Pulev to survive this fight 12 rounds.

Then we can look forward to the divisions first and only 4 belt unification ever!!!

He was the #2 or 3 ranked heavy for several years.

I like it how people all of the sudden think he wasn't worthy in an effort to discredit Klitschko, after the fight when he proved ineffective. It's like when people started saying Oscar was a weight drained shell after Pacquiao took him to hard knocks school until he quit, when beforehand those same people were saying Pacquiao was too small and would get brutalized.

Nobody started really thinking he would be no problem for Wladimir until he fought Marco Huck.

Pulev is not the one to dethrone Wlad. Bad matchup for him. But it will be more competitive than Wlad's recent fights.

Good fight - probably the best 2 heavyweights around today but Wlad is head shoulders above all - I'm not sure if anyone can dethrone him - late stoppage or big points win for Wlad.

Good, that is the fight they need to make. I think Wlad beats up Pulev but Pulev earned the shot more than anyone else and you never know when a guy will come up.

                  Praise Jesus!

Wlad is gonna rack up another W. Further cementing his legacy as a top 10 ATG! Wlad in 10

I agree with this win his legacy should be sealed - the most dominant Heavyweight champ since Joe Louis.

Wladimir is the most unwatchable heavyweight since John Ruiz. I actually liked him a lot before but after his 3rd KO loss, he became something else. Every time he realizes he's in against a guy he feels can actually beat him, he just grabs and pushes all night despite having so many unprecedented advantages. He has no belief in his ability to take a punch anymore. I find it weird that people are just starting to notice that like if he just started doing it. You can go as far back as the first Samuel Peter fight to see the excessive holding. It has turned off many people to the HW division. Alex Povetkin gave him a good run despite him leaning on his back all night. Never before have we seen the so-called elite fighter of boxings former glamour division not have his fights broadcast on major US network. Believe me, it has nothing to do with him not being american.
