I can see ways Floyd can win. If he fought like Bradley did in R.11 or like he did against Cotto countering off the ropes. I just don't believe he walks Pacquiao down as Shrambolic was arguing.
Floyd can be more effective than Bradley was in those rounds AND not have to come forward to do it, as he has shown in all of his fight.

I think Floyd's best plan would be to counter off the ropes like he did against Cotto. His head is hard to hit, and while it's easier to go to the body, Pac would be left open to counters.
Jr would walk PAC down, doesn't matter srs game play. PAC can't fight off the back foot, is slightly smaller with shorter reach, Floyd would eat him alive.

There is a very good reason why the pac fight was never made.

Pac would be a nightmare for floyd, especially back in his prime.
Too bad roach and Ariza said PAC avoided the fight not Floyd so there goes you post and premises

You know good and well if it was made now Floyd would get no credit after stomping PAC out, this is nsb

I'm not sure why you're so dismissive of the idea that Floyd walks Pacquiao down. He's done it before in his fights. In fact, he did it against another fast south paw, Judah. He did it against Ortiz because he, like Pacquiao, can't fight going backwards. Mayweather doesn't just have one style. He'll change it up multiple times within a round. That's part of the reason why he's so hard to beat.

How is it peculiar when Floyd stands there and walks down all southpaws? This is a fact just go look at the tapes so what are you talking about? Stop making stuff up. You will be the first to discredit the win as soon as Floyd washes pac

You do know that he landed over 50% of his punches in the fight, right? Or didn't you actually see the fight but still want to stir up controversy by being naive.

                I think the latter part.

Pacquiao's an effective counter-puncher. I don't see him being moved onto the backfoot, Bradley managed it for a few rounds but it was hard work and it gassed him out.

Pacquiao wants his opponents to come at him offering him a target, it's much harder for him to chase opponents down and be the hunter.

Judah's a pure boxer, Pacquiao is much more unorthodox and unpredictable, more volume and more movement. Moreover, Floyd lost the first four rounds of that fight. FMJ did it against Ortiz but Ortiz can't counter in volume like Pacquiao, and he's not as fast either.

Also you and many others are wrong trying to define how Mayweather will fight Pacquiao. You must had missed his fights from 2010-2012. Pacquaio had a ****ty jab so he will never be able to get off on Mayweather and will be timed. His arms will also be the shortest Mayweather went up against. Mayweather just keep feint jabbing him to lure him and walk him down. Plus Pacquaio foot placement isn't very smart and he will find himself out of position a lot. Mayweather doesn't get mesmerized.. He make those who fight him become frustrated.
Well if you know anything about Pacquiao, you'll know he counter-punches when he gets hit. He's not going to take a jab and go backwards, he'll throw back with speed and volume.

I just broke it down of how Pacquaio is going to get beat. As you said Paxquiao will counter when he is touched which is the point of the feint touch jab. Once Mayweather see him react, he will time him with a counter. Mayweather will just take a half step back and then bam. He will then lateral then feint touch jab him again until Pacquiao is mentally occupied about what to do then keep walking him down. Marquez already showed Pacquiao is susceptible to feints.. Mayweather timing will obliterate easily.
