How certain are you that P_SSY May will give him a rematch? Is the contract about the gloves be the same as the 1st one? Or he will make sure that Chino can only wear the gloves of his choosing? He have a valid reason of complaining after he got punked out. P_SSY move by Team Floyd and you still proud that he won the fight. "I just want to even the playing field" remember those words?

Your guy was fouling right and left, ordered Weeks around basically telling him what to do, whined so much he overruled the NSAC on Maidana's gloves, blah blah, blah... and now we hear rumblings about a payoff to Maidana for using the bogus crappy gloves.

IOW Your guy is a pathetic whining little baby who will soon lose his 0. And it could not happen soon enough. He gets ALL the breaks, the vast majority of the money, chooses his opponent, venue, ring, you name it. And unless he gets KOd, he wins the decision... by a wide margin... whether he actually DID win by a wide margin or not.

But yeah, any Floydie fan will tell you they wanna fair fight. B.S. !!
Sorry but lil Floydie did win the fight so sit back and pray that either Maidana with his lack of skills gets a rematch or some other bad ass dude comes along...maybe Oscar Delahoya can come out of retirement....reach into his safe and pull out that little blue print he thinks won him the fight a decade ago.... Basically your opinions means little because the in the eyes of the people that count... Your man Chino came up a little short. Reminded me when Oscar fought Floyd and bullied Floyd into the ropes and started wailing on Floyd's body as if he was really doing something. Even Floyd looked at Oscar and laughed at him. Again the pro Dela Hoya crowd was yelling, screaming going bezerk. When it was all said and done....the judges were not impress with that bull ****. And remember Oscar Delahoya was the face of boxing at this time not Floyd. So if it was close fight then Oscar being the A side would have gotten the nod. Yea it was competive in the first half of the fight just like it was with Chino on Saturday. Once Floyd made his adjustments by the 2nd half of the fight he controlled fight where the Judges gave him the victory.

Let me preface this by saying I am A fan of BOXING! I find myself defending Mayweather more then any other boxer. Its truly amazing how much hate some of you people have for one man you dont even know.

Anyway lets start with some education. It is not illegal to use your forearm as a defense or to push off to create space. It is however illegal to use your forearm as a strike, pressed against the neck or the face. Excessive holding is illegal, however Mayweather holds one arm which allows his opponent a free arm to work with. Tony weeks allowed Maidana to work the free arm for a few seconds then split the fighters up which is what should be done, and he would probably have let Maidana work a little more if it wasnt for all the low blows, hip blows, and rabbit punches that Maidana was throwing in those situations. Generally because the fighter has a free hand to work it is not considered excessive holding, and Maidana shot himself in the foot by choosing to fight dirty in those moments.

The Gloves. For all the people who act like they have some kind of smoking gun. The blue Gloves that the commission agreed were illegal, Garcia continued to defend those gloves even after they were proven to be insufficiently padded, Why?. Mayweather did not want them using the same style of gloves. When Mayweather fought Cotto, after the weigh in trainer Naazim Richardson noticed that the gloves Canelo was going to wear against Mosely had the thumb stitched to the fist and covered with patent leather. Naazim pointed it out to the commission and the commission agreed the gloves were illegal. Canelo could not use the gloves. Now guess who else was supposed to use those same gloves. Thats right Mayweather. And guess who had to have a different style of Grants flown in the following day, thats right Mayweather. But most of you dont know this because you dont really know what your talking about.

Its only a controversy because you hate Mayweather but glove disputes happen all the time in boxing and the fighter usually has to use a completely different style of glove. And lets be real Maidana couldnt even hit Mayweather cleanly as he even admitted himself so what good would those gloves have done other then cut Mayweather from the grazing blows of an insufficiently padded glove.

the funniest thing for me is Floyd's answer to why he would not let Maidana wear the approved gloves.

so he is asked about the gloves being approved and it is only fair for Maidana to wear the gloves he sees best for him (not best for Floyd) as long as they are safe and approved.

and Floyd goes on about A-side and B-side!!! what about fairness dumb Ash.

I said, why gave him that source if its just a rumor? You can just told him that hey that's what I heard and I heard it was just a rumor, instead of posting a tweeted version of that rumor.

                Bla bla bla bla...
The MX Everlast and Cleto Reyes were approved and perfectly fine. TMT boxers use them themselves. The only reason why Floyd didnt want Maidana using puncher gloves is because he wanted him to wear heavy padded sparring gloves to take away as much power as possible and that's all there is to it.

Because that is exactly where the rumor about Maidana receiving cash started, so you have some talking about it as if it's a fact. But the source was that Steve Kim tweet.

And a rumor by default is not credible. And the very first thing I said was the rumor started via this... That is essentially me saying 'hey it's just a rumor and it started from here.'

                  What's the matter with you?

Tell me Where in the entire fight did Maidana land a punch the had even the slightest chance of Knocking or even shaking Mayweather? By the way not including low blows, rabbit punches, head butts, knees and tackles. I realize that some will laugh but im serious. It didnt matter what gloves he fought in, he couldnt touch Mayweather with anything of consequence. He couldnt even work the cut that he opened with a headbutt, which he admitted himself.

And whats worst is everyone is completely ignoring the fact that the blue gloves were obviously missing padding. Garcia defended them even after the commission said they were illegal, then you want Mayweather to trust gloves from the same corner that just tried to fight him with poorly padded gloves. C'mon. I know he's hated but lets be real here.

                    • 4t1A, you spoke of your knowledge in the sport. The blue gloves were deemed illegal by NSAC after further inspection that it is lack of padding. I get that, I don't care if Garcia continue to argue perhaps Chino wanted to represent his country by customizing it with his country logo. So how come when Team Floyd presented with different colors but same brand and style (Everlast MX) and after the NSAC rep inspected them and approved them. Still a no-no to Team May? Again they were presented by another brand name Cleto Reyes, another brand of gloves that PUNCHERS loves to wear/use. Still a no-no. So what I'm saying is, if the gloves was inspected and approved by the commish how come Floyd insisted to not let Maidana use them?

Forearm to the neck, face, without flicking your hand as a jab is illegal. Excessive holding is illegal. I have seen many times that after threw his combo, he will hold Chinos ARMS. Is that legal or illegal?

Are you part of the NSAC, or have you written one of those rules? Are you a boxing judge? I'm just curious.
