Yeah, the blue one was illegal, but what about the red one with the name brand and also MX type? Commish inspected them and approved them. What about Cleto Reyes? Commish inspected them and approved them?

One of the poster on here have a great sig of Maidana connecting those body shots, and a wonderful right hand that connected squarely on Floyds chin that made his head swang sideway. Scroll back you'll see it and it's in slow mo. Now imagine this, if those were the commish approved gloves that landed on Floyds rib cage, chin and temple, what would be the outcome of the fight? Those are the punches that hurt Sotto Karras and Broner, don't tell me floyd would atleast wobbled by those shots or atleast affected by those body shots. Have you seen Flods face after the fight? He have marks and a big lump on his forehead, and those were done by those pillows of a gloves that Team Floyd forced Maidana to wear.

Those gloves were not coming from the commission they were still coming from the corner. Ask yourself would you trust gloves from the same corner that tried to pass faulty gloves? And keep in mind that the commission originally approved the blue gloves until Ellerbe pointed out the insufficient padding. Now is there some mind games going on? Ofcourse, but there is also no trust. The gloves Maidana fought in were provided by Shaefer.

The one shot your referring to that landed on Mayweathers face was landed with the inside of the glove, not the fist/knuckle portion where the MX gloves are low padded, so no that one punch would not have had a different affect. If you watch the video carefully you would see that it wasnt a very solid blow that would have caused KO, because at the very least even with those gloves it should have shook Floyd which it didnt.

all and all guys forget Maidana, he looks improved but he will lose 2 or 3 of his next 5 fights (if big fights).

the main thing here is that Mayweather is on his last steps, he is not the same and he is ready to lose .... he can pick strong slow guys and make it last longer like all his last fights (Maidana, Alvarez, Guarerro, Cotto, Ortiz) and making sure to avoid good boxers. and to be more honest he really avoids African American boxers. cuz last one he fought was an old man that almost knocked him out in two rounds before getting dead tired in the 3rd round onwards (Mosley) and the only other one to really hurt him was D.Corley, also an African American boxer.

so again and being fair both ways:

for Floyd: Maidana used dirty tactics, younger, hit low, Floyd won the fight, made Maidana miss like hell, his left butttt cheeck was hurt ... and some other good stuff

for Maidana: can't use approved punchers gloves, can't pick a small ring ... and those do not count big with me so not to worry.


at the end and considering all: the Mayweather I know should have won 11 or 12 round considering everything .. same thing goes for Paquiao .... failing to do so is a big deal and not a good one.

Maidana lost rounds 2,3,7 and 9-12. lost 7-5, he gassed out wasn't rushing Floyd to the ropes in the late rounds anymore, just staying in the middle of the ring eating stiff jabs to the stomach and lead rights. they guy lost clearly.

Miadana threw over 800 punches. And mayweather kept rounds close by staying on the ropes. Off the ropes Chino had absolutely nothing.

Not only did floyd push off the his forearms at the neck numerous times but he also palmed Maidanas face with the inside laces of this gloves at least twice

I do think Mayweather adjusts to fighter in an amazing way, and he does it in every single fight .... the only reason he did not get to do it with shane is that shane got so tired before Mayweather got the chance to most likely adjust to him like he always does.

Yes, he asked someone else for a source. And I replied to him with the source -- which was a tweeted rumor. What part of that don't you understand? Get some rest because you clearly are not thinking straight.

A rumor by default is not reliable. I was telling the person asking for a source that the source was in fact a RUMOR. It was not a fact. Clear your head man!
