I agree. I had no issues with the way Weeks ref'd the fight. It turned a technical mismatch into an interesting lil scrap. The only thing that disappoints me is that it whipped Floyd's truest, and most loyal fanbase, his haters into such a frezny that one of these last three fights is gonna be wasted on a pointless rematch that will likely be over officiated as you mentioned and turn into a Floyd route. In turn probably allowing Floyd to avoid guys like Porter and Thurman who are coming. And for all the exausting, nonsense duck talk that goes on daily about Floyd. Floyd is slipping. He knows it. We know it. And the other fighters know it. And at this this point in his life. I don't think Floyd wants any part of what Porter and Thurman bring to the table. Floyd can deal with an entitled, silver spoon young cat like Canelo. Porter and Thurman may not even be as talented as Ginger. But they want it more. And Floyd probably feels like he don't need that in that cushy, fantasy world he lives in.Comment

When Floyd does it it's called sweet science. That's what happens when you cherrypick a 18 to 1 fighter take away his gloves and pay him minimum wadge, just because you think that you are the Justin Biever of boxing. Next time meke him wear kneepads and head gear.Comment

Yeah it was a dirty fight, so what? Floydie was dirty as Maidana, but the Floydie fans wouldn't admit it was even close. I'm watching it again this weekend before commenting further, but as I remember it there was plenty of blame to go around. Weeks really should have said he came close to docking Floydie too. Wasn't like it was one sided in that dept.Comment
