I get it, you can't complain about Maidana's dirty fighting but you can complain all day about a request to change gloves and how the judges scored the fight...Comment

This was one of the most dirty fights Ive ever witnessed and I watch all the fights more then once, this guy was trying to maul Floyd, knee, hitting on the break, all those clubbing punches behind the head, Floyd is lucky none of those did not floor him, I was impressed with the fact that for the most part, he stayed composed...
Whats really ****ed up to me, Garcia said countless times on all access, Chino needs to fight dirty, so he had intent and from the last 2 fights, Floyd got 114-114 witch tells me someone is investing in im losing...
One thing I notice, Floyd dont react well to cuts, he was acting strange for 2 full rounds, seemed like he wanted to quit...
Also if you look at the pre fight mitt work, Floyd put zero force and turned south pah for a few, Paulie caught that and said he only recalls Floyd doing that wen he hurt his hand...
If i was Floyd I would never do business with anyone from Garcia's camp, from the shady gloves to all the dirty stuff, these people dont deserve ****, bunch of cheaters!!!Comment

Is an attempted foul something you can get penalized for? I don't know the answer to that but I doubt it. In football if you attempted a late hit on the quarterback but missed, you wouldn't get penalized. I assume the same is true in boxing--that if you try to foul but fail you aren't penalized. Maybe that explains why the knee wasn't called.
And it wasn't just knees that received no penalty, but also low blows and a host of other things. Like this...

Botha sides had their fair share of dirty tactics but Maidana was the main offender.
