I use to think Tony Weak was a pretty good ref, but it's obvious he's for sell, on the take and up for the highest bidder. He was definitely paid off.
It was pretty obvious when every time floyd would call him to save him, Weeks would step in and separate them. Every single time. Marcos would be in floyds grill, Weeks would be watching, then floyd would turn his head and complain to weeks, and then he would step in and make them reset. Didn't matter that Marcos was punching, or that floyd was holding him, when floyd called, Weeks was there, every single time.
Imagine, this was supposed to show ALL of Maidana's dirty tactics but it also showed Floyd several times giving Maidana the head-lock. Showed Floyd clinching excessively.
Often Maidana retaliated. If Floyd would elbow or put Maidana into a head-lock, Maidana would return the favor with a trick of his own.
Where was Maidana retaliating here? I see nothing that warranted a clear low-blow from out of nowhere.

Yeah, sure. Maidana was throwing rabbit punches and Weeks would see and do nothing. Constantly throughout the fight. At one point, Weeks even put his own hands to the back of his head to indicate a rabbit punch that he saw Maidana throw to Floyd's head, but he didn't jump in! He did nothing, it was like he was practicing sign language. I'll probably make a gif of it or something.

Some did some didn't.
Go check out Floyd sucker punching Mosley and Gatti. Was it warranted? No. Did it happen? YES!!!
Floyd fans want to see what they want to see but let's face it, Floyd fights dirty too and we have been telling you that for a while now. Now that Floyd gets some back, you complain.

Make your silly little gif. I have the fight on my dvr in hd. I can point out every single time floyd used an elbow, or held excessively. You can even watch the fight yourself and see that every time floyd cried, Weeks jumped in to save him. I have no problem saying Maidana fought dirty. He simply fought fire with fire. Floyd, is just as dirty with his tactics as anyone else. But since hes a Black American, he gets called "crafty, intelligent, high ring iq". Dude uses elbows and shoulders like nobodies business, just like every other fighter. But you, will pretend it doesn't happen.
I'm speechless. Floyd was the one hugging all night, using elbows, forearns, etc. He does that in everyfight and no one deducts him points. Hugging should be strictly penalyzed, specially hugging after you are the one that punches. A black referee helped Floyd s next time have the rematch.in Argentina with an Argentinean ref.

Floyd never initiated any dirty tactics in that fight, anything dirty he did was retaliation and it paled in comparison to Maidana's tactics. Maidana came out fighting dirty from the beginning of Round 1. And even Garcia was in the corner urging Maidana to fight dirty, and before the fight, Garcia told the press that they were going to fight rough and dirty.
Maidana was doing some new ****, even tackling him down. Like it's the NFL. And even tried to punt, using his knees. He took dirty to a new level Saturday.
