Please save the rope a dope argument I do not buy it.
If you say that, was slugging or a toe to toe fight, you don't know what you are talking about. Gatti vs ward, Marquez vs Vasquez, that's toe to toe. It was more a rope a dope with holding and looking at the ref. For protection . Maidana didn't let him hold and never stop punching even while the brawler Mayweather was holding him.
I love guys like you!!! Thomas Hearns was KO'd by Iran Barkley and lost the rematch by UD to, a "flat foot, slow and low boxing IQ class C fighter." as you put it. Muhammad Ali was dropped by Henry Cooper, "flat foot, slow and low boxing IQ class C fighter." Tito was dropped by Yuri Boy Campas a "flat foot, slow and low boxing IQ class C fighter." Tito was also dropped by Ricardo Mayorga, another "flat foot, slow and low boxing IQ class C fighter." So Floyd lost a few rounds to a "pressure fighter, but you know what he did do? He won, fighting his opponents fights, a rough and dirty fight. All the greats had tough fights, doesn't matter who they fought. They ALL had tough fights.

If you've watched Floyd long enough you know how he makes space on the ropes and it ain't clean, ain't clean at all. Both men fought a hell a of fight let's get a rematch and cut the nonsense out..
dude, give it a rest. Maidana fought dirty the entire fight. Throwing clubbing punches to the back and top of FLoyds head, rabbit punches, low blows and leading with his head.

It wasnt "at times" it was the entire fight.

Weeks was in a rough spot as a referee. You have to maintain order, but you also have to let the guys fight. I'd rather a referee let guys fight and only interject if things get out of hand than constantly insert himself in the action. That was Maidana's best chance to throw Floyd off, and I'm glad he was allowed, though he did go overboard at times. It's not like Floyd hasn't done the same to his opponents sometimes.
I honestly think he missed the knee attempt from where he was standing.

Biting on the inside, pulling head down to a High knee, low blows, double/triple rabbit combos, MMA takedown with a cheap swing. What was so funny amounts all this watching maidana complain to the ref that Floyd was sticking out his elbow. Just LOL
