Some serious observations about the Glove fiasco

I understand all too well that there are some very questionable discrepancies.

Some which led to all the Blue Gloves being blanket rejected. Now if this brings su****ion on Garcia, then it is what it is. But you as well are making several assumptions in your comments -- Of which I made only suggestions about whether Garcia knew those gloves would be questioned, & if he didn't then he needs to revisit what will pass an inspection and what won't.

Having a box of gloves all without their factory sealing and wrapped in saran wrap would be questioned by anybody.

I've never worn Everlast, only Rival, Title and Grant, which weren't mine. So, other than the pictures I have no experience with the MX's.

The fact that you have never laced up a pair of MX's proves how little you know about the subject matter. Let's say Maidana's camp did remove some padding, how would they be able to restore them back to the same condition without the factory equipment needed to make the gloves?

Are you implying that Everlast - one of the most renown sports equipment manufacturer, purposely designed the gloves to have less padding on the knuckles?

Look, how do you flat-out dismiss what someone in the room at the time stated that doesn't have a stake in the argument.

An eyewitness confirmed that the blue custom gloves were not in factory packing, but in saran wrap.

I'm not stating this because I wasn't there .... But someone who manufacture's professional gloves stated this!!!!

Look, the blue gloves were crap and were not wrapped in professional packaging. What happened to them, who knows? I do not know if the red ones were taken out of the professional packaging or not. I believe the black ones were. Both the black and red ones were approved. If you are questioning whether the gloves were tampered with, who knows, and I am sure we will never find out. They(Blue MX) probably were tampered with because I do not remember the Mayweathers having a issue with Cotto's gloves. He was wearing the MX glove also. You could see from the video that those blue ones were not right.

The NSAC should have, in the most diplomatic language possible, told Floyd to go fuck himself. Unless Everlast have decided to sabotage their company just for the hell of it, Mayweather had no grounds for having the gloves changed.

Exactly the point I was making in the OP .... Before the fan-boys started defending something they're not in a position to defend.

Garcia should have picked up that the gloves would not be approved before ever letting anyone touch them and TMT should have accepted the decision of the NSAC once all the blue gloves were tossed.

Adding: No one would even suggest that Everlast would sabotage their companies business future, but defects do happen and happen all the time.

Somebody on Maidana's team should have (once they felt the gloves) said or asked the question ..... Will these pass NSAC inspection?????

I didnt really follow the glove issue but if Grant said they were wrapped in saran wrap then thats funny but not su****ious thay they were trying to cheat.

Recently Vitali stopped, i think Wach, from using gloves cause they were thin in the padding so maybe this is the issue.

I wasnt there, didnt feel the gloves and really wouldnt know what the difference was but i dont think the commission would allow Maidana to use much bigger gloves just to help out Floyd.
