Only 8% of the media thought Maidana won the fight.

Maidana gave Floyd a tough fight, he get's a lot of credit for that. But he lost.

Not even anywhere close to a robbery.

What kind of robbery has only 8% of press row thinking the guy who got "robbed" won the fight? None.
By the same token mayweather only clearly won 6-7-9

I thought he clearly won the 10th aswell but yeah I agree I'm not saying Mayweather dominated the fight.

Unfortunately though, leading with your head and humping the opponent against the ropes while missing wild shots doesn't qualify as effective aggression or as clean effective punching.

I do respect your candor and personality, however its clear you do not give Maidana full credit for his clinch and one hand free work.. and how he controlled different parts of the fight with the jab and making Floyd Mayweather, the p4p #1.. miss. Quite often.

Also to be considered is the overall story of the fight. Getting away from just counting punches like a dorf... I also like to factor in how powerful and authoritative those punches are. Mayweather's body language and overall demeanor was one of discomfort, confusion.. and demoralization. At no time was Maidana similarly effected.

Maidana was landing to the body alot.. and upstairs more often than mos t anyone was saying he would.

its not as "pretty" as a pullcounter or flashy hook but it should count all the same

I give him a whole lot of credit. Both before the fight and after the fight. The fight played out EXACTLY like I expected and I was one of the only non-Maidana fans who said Maidana would be a tough test for Floyd.

Maidana get's a lot of credit from me and will go down as giving Mayweather one of his toughest ever fights.

But he lost and the vast majority are in agreement with that.

He lost and It shows as a loss on his record, the reality Is he won. His stock went up In defeat, and rightfully so.

The truth Is, as many already stated In previous posts, the fight could have gone 7-5 to either fighter with a draw being ok also. The Burt Clements scorecard of 117-111 was beyond ridiculous
