I back off my original draw score and sat.. Maidana won the fight.

Mayweather spin cycle machine was in effect. Mind warping stuff.I rewatched that **** once regular and a third time with no sound.. rewinding the tape round by round.. a few comments.

Maidana's jab kept Floyd honest in the middle of the ring. It was impressive.. fast.. and disrupting

Maidana did alot of good work with one hand free and on the ropes with awkward angled punches.

two ways Maidana could have done better: lead straight right hand.. and use of his puncher's gloves of course.

having said that.. he was making Mayweather MISS with his supposed C - defensive skills. His defense, pushing the fight...The jab coupled with his clinch/rope work was winning ROUNDS for Chino..

Shostats started out more accurate but it was not correct in the last half of the fight. The 11th and 12th round especially. Thats that spin cycle.. they are protecting their investment I get it.. but I sat and counted punches in the championship rounds and Maidana landed more than advertised.. and made Floyd miss more than advertised. Also Chino's punches were more authoritative if not as pretty. Problem is Shostats wasnt crediting all of Maidana's one hand free and in the clinch work.

I gave Maidana 5 of the first 6 rounds.. the 8th... and the 12th. 115-113 Maidana. And the 11th could easily be Maidana's as well. Which would make it 116-112

so proud of Chino. Really.. Floyd tried to rig the fight with the glove bs and Chino won the damn fight anyway.

It goes a little deeper than that. Floyd is not known for getting marked up. Pacquiao marks up easily. Some people said that Clottey landed the "cleaner shots" vs. Pacquiao also. So I'd assume you're OK with them giving Clottey the win over Pacquiao?

There is a clear bias for Mayweather in the media. Mayweather will never lose a fight unless he's hurt under the criteria the media and judges use to judge his fights. Floyd will always land the "cleaner" punches against anyone. His style is made to counter and lead from the right distance to land those kind of shots. But because a guy is covering up and getting pounded to the side of the head and the body doesn't mean those shots don't count. Floyd has the shots that look better from far away but when you look close up on a television screen you can see he's getting hit in the body and the side of the head a lot when he's taken to the ropes and he's just covering up.

The rounds Maidana won he won bigger and he carried most of the rounds...I'm sorry the media and Vegas judges find it more beneficial to keep Mayweather "undefeated" when he lost to Castillo the first time clearly and he lost this fight.

As Floyd always says, "Boxing is a business." It's a business for the Vegas judges and the media to keep this fake "undefeated" gimmick going for Floyd. This is the second he's lost.

I agree with your analysis although I didn't find one round in the first 6 to give to Floyd. I think the 8th is Maidana's close and I think the 11th and the 12th are debatable. When I originally scored it...I had Maidana winning the first six and the eight. I had it 7-5 Maidana. Now that I'm rewatching it in slow motion too...Maidana clearly landed more shots than given credit too and Floyd didn't even throw let alone land the number of shots he allegedly threw. Don't ever go by compubox stats. It's rigged.

Maidana clearly won more rounds than Floyd that were clear. Debatable rounds could go either way..Floyd fans and media people will say Floyd won them. Maidana carried the first 6 rounds and surely didn't get shut out the second half of the fight. Floyd never took over the fight. Maidana was never in trouble. Floyd was in trouble.

thats exactly it. Alot of people dont have a brain of their own (see above my last post), or any analytic ability whatsoever. The establishment is trying to prop up the Money guy, but the actual fight, unfettered and uncut, tells a different tale.

Wow this is just nothing short of delusion.

Maidana barely clearly won any rounds let alone dominated. He clearly won 1,5 and 8. That's it.

Only 8% of the media thought Maidana won the fight.

Maidana gave Floyd a tough fight, he get's a lot of credit for that. But he lost.

Not even anywhere close to a robbery.

What kind of robbery has only 8% of press row thinking the guy who got "robbed" won the fight? None.
