If he kept the volume and pace for 2-3 more rounds its a onesided win for him, he dominated the first half of the fight.

Generically stating that he's 37 means zero to me. Bernard Hopkins PEAKED at 37. There were many occasions last night when Floyd flashed punches and changes in direction at blinding speeds. His physical condition is still the best in the sport. I guess we have different eyes.
I have backed it up #1 and #2, like I said how do you want me to back this up? What kind of evidence are you looking for? How do you determine a fighter is in decline? It's not some super analytical task, it's pretty simple viewing. Since when is using your eyes not good enough? I use my eyes, and my eyes see that he's visibly slower in every category. Is he still sharp? Yes. Again, never said he's shot. He's just much slower. I'm not sure on his condition because he was pretty exhausted last night and he was against Cotto aswell.

All you have to do is simply watch and compare the fights, not rocket science. Watch his fight's with Mosley and Marquez and compare them to his last four fights. From what I see it's night and day and like I said I've been saying this since the Cotto fight.

Hopkins was in his peak around age 35, 36 but was he an 18 year pro then? How long had he been fighting at the top level/Championship level? Hopkins was considered green at the age of 28 against Roy Jones. Floyd at 28 had been a world Champion for going on a decade. Floyd's been fighting at the Championship level for 17 years. It's damn near impossible to not be in decline by that point of your career.

I think he did the best he could possibly do. I think Floyd adjusts easily and we see the fight we all expected in September. Especially with a ref that will be much more involved.

Floyd wasn't happy about Weeks so you know damn well the next ref will be breaking it up much faster.

The statements you're making; "night and day" ... "well into decline" - they're just too fantastic, too over exaggerated for me to personally digest. And again, you're not backing this up with anything. Perhaps we should agree to disagree? Believe me, neither one of our opinion's means all that much. I was curious, one boxing fan to another, what it is you think you saw. Apparently you can't tell me. Fine. I'm over it. No harm no foul.

Let's be real here larryx I love Floyd but he went trough deep waters to pull this disupted decision out, Maidana is his new nemesis.

You deserve credit, LW. You're the only guy I saw making statements that would prove to be accurate about this fight. Props man.

                  I've told you.

Like I've asked 3 times, what kind of evidence are you looking for? What evidence do you use when identifying a fighter is in decline other than your own two eyes?

It is night and day. Compared to a Floyd of 4-5 years ago. Let alone 7-8 years ago.
