Mayweather vs. Maidana rematch??!! What more could El Chino do??

Maidana treated Floyd like he treats any other fighter: he pushed him against the ropes, let his hands go, roughed him up on the inside, and even fought dirty at times. He fought a tremendous fight and did exactly what he needed to do.

However, it wasn't enough to get the decision. I had 115-113 Floyd in a close and competitive fight while some people here thought Maidana won. Most Boxing commentators/analysts/writers had Floyd winning.

In the event of a rematch, what should Maidana do differently? Do you really think he could do better?

I don't see the point of a rematch either. Maidana proved himself, whether you thought he won or not. Unless they let him us the Everlast MX gloves, I don't think there's a reason to do it, besides money

Need cleaner work, more cleaner punches, he smothered his own work last night a lot so while fans cheered and it looked good if you was rooting against Mayweather but realistically, not much was landing clean at least nothing meaningful was landing clean

Maybe he can wear puncher gloves if Floyd mans up.

Not gas after 6 rounds... 2nd half of the fight he didn't have any intensity, and clearly slowed down...

The pace he set early was furious and needs to keep it up all fight

Stamina must be better. He lost like 5 rounds in a row because he slowed down a bit...if he could have ever kept it up for all 12 he would have won handily and just overwhelmed Floyd completely.

Maybe he can get Floyd in a arm bar or drop kick him next time

He did not have stamina issues...he missed a lot of shots and Floyd was working his body and countering him..thats why his workrate faded and he began to get his ass kicked
