To me he never looked right in this fight at all, Not taking anything away from Maidana but May on a bad night would have skooled Maidana so for me this was a terrible performance by May.. If May was fighting Manny last night he would have got owned on that performance for sure. Maidana fight is an easy one for Manny right now. There is only one fight that really matters and that is May Vs Manny. I am so happy that I never paid the PPV to watch it.. However I will pay for Froch Vs Groves that's value for money.. 80,000 in attendance
Amen to that! what a waste of money that would have been

Cotto is a couple of years younger than Floyd, and Cotto is a much more accomplished fighter than Maidana. But when you're 37 years old you're bound to not be at your peak in ANY fight you're in.

I think the 17 pound weight advantage for Maidana played a bigger role due to the bullish style Maidana fought with, it pretty much negated Mayweather strength and made it hard to push off. Moving a guy 17 pounds heavier off you is quite a task.

LOL Floyd didn't look old at all, this dude forced a guy to wear pillow gloves, He just finally fought an aggressive strong fighter with stamina.

He got exposed, Maidana is a bum that is what you guys would say if he fought Pacman, that is a tailorade flat foot bum that pac fights, stop with your bull ****, Floyd got exposed he is not the best ever, stop it you fake boxing fans.

Devon Alexander put a master class on the same Maidana.

No maidana jut had right game plan.

Had it 4-2 after 6 thinking this may be the night but then floyd took over 7-12. Maybe 8 for maidana so i can see 8-4 but ill say 7-5 floyd

It is for you guys because youve never seen floyd hit like that.. But for me its suppose to happen like that.. Floyd outclassed a very game chino.. Chino faded 9 to 12.. Chino right grazed floyd more then it hit him. Floyd was punching maidana right in the mouthrepeatadly, landed the jab an right to the body at will.. Chinos jab was moere effective then his riightt from the 7th on.
... And now imagine that Floyd was hit with the proper MX gloves...

I noticed its only the Floyd haters saying he didn't look old, you guys act like the man doesn't age. And you're only saying he didn't look old so you can say he got "exposed." He's slipping and its obvious.

It's puzzling because Floyd looked like a god in there with Canelo and Guerrero.

If you punished a defensive fighter, he'll just get even more defensive. That's what happen in the early rounds. Maidana got off first and made a statement, pressured mayweather like hell until the six rounds. Both got tired. I think the fight would've been different if mayweather made a statement first, and made some dramatic damage early on. It would've made maidana hesitate to rough him up. If mayweather turns someone style to boxing mode, then its schooling time. He wasn't really able to do that for the most part against maidana.

Yes, he's a lot older now, but still, we didn't saw that one coming.

Pac-mayweather 2014 remains competitive and intriguing regardless of whatever tards say.
