It's about the style of fighter he was facing.

I have to agree, one moment between rounds he sat down n he was slouched against the ropes and breathing hard, usually he looks like he's just sitting at a bus stop, but last night for the first time in a while i saw a sense of apprehension on his face

Floyd looked just as fast as he normally does, he was in the ring against a guy 20 pounds heavier who was stronger than him who brought the RIGHT STYLE to win. The blueprint is out there now and I fully expect Floyd to dodge a rematch at all costs and probably retire to make sure the rematch isn't demanded by the public.
No he didn't. Watch his fight against Baldomir, or even the Canelo fight last fall. He was a lot slower last night.

cant wait to here the excuses as soon as he fights and schools a boxer.

styles make fights and Maidana is a difficult style for ANY boxer.

agreed. Floyd is slower but not as slow as people are making him out to be. Maidanas style is just awkward and hes a tough relentless sob. people should be giving both fighters mad props.

and he will accept the rematch but please believe Maidana wont be getting those gloves

Thank you OP. I see your a Floyd fan but you can admit when Floyd looks terrible. Everyone else is in denial.

Last night was one of those nights. Slow. Flat footed, he looked 37 in there.

I honestly think Floyd might take an L before his career is over.

I think some of it is over-training though. Floyd's work ethic is crazy, he was ready to fight more than a month ago. But all the crazy training makes you less fresh come fight night. His father seems to try to keep that in check more than Roger did. But even then I think his training is hard to control.

Roger said that he hurt his hand before the fight too... His hands should be fresh when it's known that he has hand issues.

And I also think, every fighter is entitled to having OFF nights. Where, things just don't go their way, or their performance is lackluster. We see this more clearly in other sports than we do in boxing.

getting the crap beat out of him in those opening rounds probabley has something to do with him looking "old/slow"

i know floyd fans like to act like body punches dont count on floyd, or aren't landing/doing damage, but it affects him too
