You just answered your own damn question lol.

"Controlling the pace" is not a scoring criteria

We need to see a rematch and I think we will. Nobody **** on this fight more than me but I was impressed with Maidana.
      Uhhh....by actually LANDING punches

The *** is going on here?

Well what did Maidana do to win rounds?

Floyd landed the cleaner punches in most of the rounds he obviously landed the better punches throughout.

Maidana did well to get inside and work and halt Floyds offense but he didn't so all that much himself.

I have watched it again already.

Had the same score Mayweather 8-4.

7 to 5 Maidana. @ Mayweather fans that thought it was one sided for Mayweather.

            8-4 Mayweather

From round 6 Chino looked lost.

He made the adjustments, when in the middle of the ring looked at ease & landed the cleaner more effective shots.

If this was MMA Maidana probably won.

Maidana is this big puncher but if the fight was so close when did he ever trouble mayweather or wobble him? Also when he did land early on he had NO leverage on the punches .

Easy fight if the rematch is made.

Floyd won the fight either 115-113 or 116-112..

Maidana started strong, but the 2nd half of the fight was all Floyd.

Floyd pretty much let Maidana tee off on him early and was going to let chino punch himself out and Floyd was just looking for the little body shots and jabs to the body.. That paid off because Maidana slowed up after 6 rounds and it was pretty much all Floyd after that...

                    But I believe I had Floyd winning rounds 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12.

Maidana had more success the first 6 rounds then anyone ever on Floyd, with the exception of maybe Castillo. The difference was the Castillo fight, Floyd did well the first half, won 4-5 of the first 6 rounds. Castillo dominated the 2nd half, Floyd perhaps won a round the 2nd half.

                    The opposite happened here.

Maidana took it to Floyd early, not giving him room to breathe. Floyd still got off enough counters from the ropes, and tagged him enough in the center of the ring though, to win a couple rounds. 4-2 Maidana after 6, I was STUNNED by this though.

Floyd kind of figured him out near the 2nd of the 6th though. The 2nd half, nearly ALL the clean and clear punches were Mayweather. And he adjusted off the ropes, smothering Maidana, and timing him with some amazing counters. Floyd also did some tremendous body work both on the ropes and in the center of the ring with some big left hooks to the body.

Maidana won the 8th, but Floyd swept the last 4. The 12th was entertaining but Floyd still landed more and the clearer shots.

                    115-113 Floyd. I want a rematch though.

People throw around 'robbery' far too much. I had it a draw, but it was close fight and no real complaints about it going either way.
