This surprises me because you are a level headed poster, I don't see how anyone can have anything but a draw. What did Floyd do to win rounds? He landed some shots here and there but for the large majority of the fight, Though Chino did miss many shots, he controlled the pace of the fight and drove Mayweather around almost at will, he blocked several of Mayweathers combinations, I will watch it again without a doubt but I seriously suggest you do as well.

Floyd fans will do this. They make it sound like their man won easily but that is not the case.

Those 2 scores from the judges just didn't look right. They were scored bad. Way, way bad!

Well what did Maidana do to win rounds?

Floyd landed the cleaner punches in most of the rounds he obviously landed the better punches throughout.

Maidana did well to get inside and work and halt Floyds offense but he didn't so all that much himself.

I have watched it again already.

Had the same score Mayweather 8-4.

Have to agree with this.

Maidana did well to get inside, but ended up smothering himself.
And he wasn't landing many body shots either, his punches were blocked or smothered for the most part.

Floyd didn't look sharp , his performance was sub pair in my opinion.
With that said, I can give Maidana 4 rounds max, 5 is being biased.

maidana did what he was suppose to do which was make it rough(which is what i expected) i stated that maidana would be a great fight for anyone at ww and that floyd's a G for fighting him and people ****ted on me.......i had it 8-4 for mayweather. maidana is hell for a lot of people at 147.

Floyd still won 8-4 on my card. Although there could be a case for 7-5 as one of the rounds was very equal, but I think Floyd just edged it.

I don't see how a case can be made for a draw or a win for Maidana. He didn't land the best punches and faded a lot after the 6th - Mayweather looked stronger and landed the sharper, crisper punches throughout.

The only outcome that would have been a robbery is a maidana win. It was fairly close, and maidana got to fight his fight way more than I expected, but his work just was nowhere near clean enough to justify a W. Especially compared to the punches Floyd started landing in the second half. Quality over quantity, Floyd deserved the close nod. A draw wouldn't have been an outright robbery but it would have been a bit off. That said Floyd left a lot to be desired tonight. I think maidanas awkward charges proved a bit harder to roll and counter off than Floyd anticipated.

Floyd won the fight from what I saw, can't remember what rounds I gave to who but I kept track when I was watching and had Floyd winning by a number of rounds.

Maidana did a lot better than I thought and made many rounds competitive, but didn't do enough to win a lot of them IMO, I thought Floyd landed the cleaner and more telling punches throughout the majority of the rounds.

I think some may have given Maidana rounds just because he did better than they thought he would, but I still don't think he did quite enough to win.

I don't think Floyd looked fully focused in there last night to be honest, credit to Maidana for giving it his all though.

I wasn't 100% focused on scoring it because I didn't think it'd be an issue, but it definitely wasn't a robbery. 8-4 or 7-5 Mayweather seems the right score, but a draw doesn't feel wrong.

7-5 or 8-4 Mayweather. Maidana put up a hell of a fight, but Floyd landed the cleaner more effective shots throughout.

A rematch is needed, but I feel it will go much like the 2nd half of this one.
