Everyone would be doing themselves a favor if you stay off of NSB for several days after tonight.
Those posters are just a small minority that nobody takes seriously anyway.

I didnt think the Cotto fight was that close, I thought Mayweather clearly won with better work

But I can understand someone making a case for Maidana winning this fight, although it was certainly no robbery

I scored the Cotto fight as a clear win for Floyd although competitive, but this **** right here was a draw or split decision either way kind of fight, and no comparison to the Cotto fight at all. That one had a clear winner this one hell no .

They wanted to sell the morons a rematch is what I'm thinking here. I haven't heard Showtime's commentary yet.
This fight was closer than the one with Cotto, you on crack son? It should be evident it was close when even Mayweathers fans on this site are posting 115-113 scores..

It wasn't a robbery... But you have to wonder if Maidana won another round .. Still would have been 115-113 Floyd. Not seeing those body shots on the 117-111 scorecard made me wanna vomit. The judges are rigged, even if it didn't seem like it. Man I gotta say HBO is way better than Showtime. 46-0, next three should be Maidana, Lara, Cotto.

I haven't heard Showtime's commentary yet. People are often very influenced by commentary.

I thought Mayweather didn't look as good as usual but I just don't see what Maidana did that was so great let alone having people think he actually won....lol.

People just don't know what they're watching sometimes. You can put Floyd against who's willing to fight on the outside and not using any dirty roughhousing tactics, and he'll look comfortable cruise to a 118-110 type of fight without breaking a sweat. When you put him against a guy like Maidana or any fighter who can cut off the ring and make him uncomfortable by utilizing roughhousing tactics, then you have a chance to make Floyd fight a bit aggressive and sloppy than he normally does.

it was closer we all agree on that, but in 4 months people will be saying a rematch is pointless and the fight wasnt close at all

                    And another thing:

Remember how many people were saying De La Hoya won?(and it was actually scored a SD)

Fast forward 8 years and how many people are still saying this? Exactly.

So people will forget it was a gift decision in time? Like the Castillo fight?
