Oh really? Let me read them once again in that case.

Contract is irrelevant if the commission deems the Gloves unsafe. Maidana will have to use different gloves if this is the case.

They said that the gloves maidana choose can't be used..what are you on about

"Floidiot" is a term of endearment for his biased nutthuggers.

Most people with a common sense approach (that excludes Floidiots basically by default) have made plenty of comments supported by evidence and reasoning that go against what you are claiming. The red gloves are approved by the commission, Maidana is allowed to wear them per contract stipulations, and this is just a stunt by Mayweather.
Based on what facts do you know that it was the red gloves that were approved? the article only says the second gloves were approved and what we see in the video is that everyone was kicked out of the room before anything was actually discussed. not even Shaefer knows what happened. And you continue to say that i claimed something. Please tell me what have i claimed?

The red backup gloves were approved. Floyd demanded that Maidana wear Floyd's gloves.

Yes, there is an element of speculation that goes with any commentary of this sort. It'd be nice to get the Nevada commissioner on the phone and have him release an official statement directly to the boxingscene forum himself. But nonetheless, there is plenty to go on. And it is pretty safe to say that the backup pair was indeed the red gloves (or a similar pair of Everlast gloves). Moreover, Cliff Rold is generally credible and if he says that a backup pair was approved it is probably the case.

Your interpretation of 'common sense' is contradicted by the facts. Like I said gloves were introduced to improve punching power. My common sense says you can hit someone's head with more power and force when your hand is protected.

As for your comment about cuts being more likely I agree, but Maidana isn't going to win any point decision if the fight gets stopped on cuts.
