Bernard questions pacquio

I remember when Bernard was everyone's hero on here when he was "dissing" Floyd. Guess that's what happens when you hitch your opinion on to the backs of others instead of standing on your own two, even if it's an unpopular stance.

An injury, even minor, heals much, much slower in a 50-year-old than in a 20-year-old - probably 2 or 3 times slower. You would think at his age he would spend so much time recovering from injuries and muscle soreness from weight training that he would never have time to train in the ring.
The overwhelming majority of athletes the world over would love their careers to go on to 50. Many would be willing to do whatever it takes to get there (diet, exercise, etc.) Why is Hopkins the one that can manage it when almost no one else can?

Trust me I done hair drug test before, where I smoked weed and submitted hair a week later and passed.
Also lets be clear, Rios was coming up in weight, not down so it's pretty much a lame excuse. You can't fight at your last fight at 140, make weight, lose then get an even bigger fight and not take it serious enough to lose weight which should be easier because you moved up.
Maidana was getting pretty ****ed up in those championship rounds, his stamina kept fluctuating through out the fight. Broner is an idiot and never goes to the body and gets comfortable instead of putting down all stops. I will never be a fan of someone in a sport and never take it seriously.
Yes, Love did get a lot crap for his diuretic but that was more because Floyd claimed to be on a crusade to clean up boxing and he couldn't even clean up his own stable. I don't think Love was juicing, just couldn't make the weight. Mickey Bey was definitely up to something as he had elevated testosterone levels. Even recently, Floyd suspended two fighters for testing positive for smoking weed and I'm not sure he did the same to Love or Bey. What the logic is behind that is unclear to me.
In regards to Rios. He was always big for 140, maybe he figured at 147 he didn't have to worry too much about weight but was too lackadaisical. Maybe he felt he needed more power and added too much muscle, there's really no way to tell.
The only way to keep the sport clean as possible is to have every fighter on 365 OST. This fake OST fighters do is complete bull**** and still easily worked around. Even 365 testing can be fooled. Look at cycling, insiders were saying for years everyone needs to do it to be able to compete. Until then assume every fighter is dirty.

One upon a time he was a monster ****ing middleweight who tore dudes up and broke them down physically, then he changed his style and became more defensive minded in his 30s and rarely ever knocked anybody out ever again.
Same is true with Pacquiao. He doesn't fight to wreck dudes anymore, he fights to win decisions. Not to mention the fact that, since moving up, Pacquiao has fought a lot of guys with really tough chins and high durability : Mosley, Margarito, Bradley. Nobody is knocking those dudes out. Ever.
Hopkins is being a bitter **** here who is only talking **** about Pacquiao because of his association with Golden Boy. I'm disappointed as a fan of his.Originally posted by ßringer View PostYou're wrong. It's not jealousy, it's just typical bull**** being spouted by a guy who is promoted by the rival company of another guy who is among the most popular in the sport.
I expect better from Hopkins. He used to be the posterboy for the anti-establishment in boxing and routinely rallied against the idea of promoters, calling them all scumbags and crooks.
Now he's one of them.
