Alistair Overeem(MMA+K1) also wasnt caught for years... untill they randomly tested him. Actually he tried to escape but another mma fighter snitched on him while he was trying to get away(big country nelson).

With this said most tests werent always bloodtests and urine tests are as good as no tests for a pro.

certain dudes are just suspect because they refuse strict testing the opponent asks of them.
    MMA: Hendricks
    marquez
    Ward
    and Pac

    but yeah innocent untill...

I can just picture Overeem trying to hide.

The 'weight' argument is so ****** when it comes to Pacquiao. But it's a simple message, and a simple message will always impress a simpleton more than a complex one.

True Freddy isn't going to know what Ariza put in his shake and isn't responsible but why would he in a way throw su****ion towards Manny to make Ariza look bad. It seemed more like a slip of the tongue like when he admitted Arum wants the Manny -Floyd fight for Manny last fight.

With Atlas, You may not like him but he reports it like he sees it I don't think he'd risk his reputation / credibility saying something that he didn't believe is true. Again if it was just Atlas saying this then whatever but it's just like there's multiple times where its been brought up to makes you wonder.

Agree about it could be a power/ego move everyone involved is a egomaniac with lots of pride so I could understand the reaction by PAC but why not say FU that instead of making exuses and having members from his team say he's afraid of needles ( when he has tattoos) , they make him weak, Like Insaid earlier I believe it was a well known secret like when steroids was in baseball that Manny was on that juice but athletes aren't going throw each other under the bus, That's why Floyd demanded the test because He was more then certain he was on it.

I gotta disagree with you about Floyd and Manny being somewhat the same. Yeah Manny might have been malnourished when he started but at age 25 he was coming into fights at 122 and five years and change later hes fighting With 20% more body mass with out losing speed or quickness. That's never happend in the history of boxing all those things plus more make me think he took the juice or he is just a crazy physical outlier which could be the case

I agree I think most boxers athletes are on something, I don't know why people are throwing -hop under the bus he's one of the few boxers that I believe isnt or never been dirty of course I could be wrong this is all speculation on my part.
Fair point. Arum/Pac should have come out immediately and said they don't dance to mayweathers tune but they did say let the commission do their job as in 'if the people who call the shots tells us do do it, we'll do it.' Also I believe after his loss to Morales, Pac said he felt weakened due to a blood test prior to the fight and this contributed to his loss. Personally, I believed Floyd saw this an opportunity to get inside his head if they ever did fight and have him doubting his strength in the ring giving him an advantage. That was before Floyd, Richard and Bernard all came out saying they have no intention of ever working with Arum, so what difference would a blood test have made? If Pac agreed immediately, the fight would still never have been made, another road block would have appeared as we found out was the case. I think Pac and Bob played into Floyds hands tbh.

Having said all this I'm not saying Pac is clean or dirty, just that the reasons people usually give don't seem credible to me.

In terms of B-Hop. I always thought PEDs were good in the short term but detrimental to your long term health, just look at wrestlers who die fairly young . So I would think years of PED usage would shorten your career not lengthen it but then again I'm no expert

Its a common misconception that Pac dramatically increased his body weight.

His FIGHT NIGHT weight is the same at WW and SFW as the image shows.

Plenty of fighters could fight at a higher weight than they do but go as low as their body will allow them to gain an advantage in the ring.

Look at Broner coming from LW to WW - His fight night weights are probably the same.

Exactly, he would have suffered numerous injuries - every boxer does. An injury, even minor, heals much, much slower in a 50-year-old than in a 20-year-old - probably 2 or 3 times slower. You would think at his age he would spend so much time recovering from injuries and muscle soreness from weight training that he would never have time to train in the ring.

The overwhelming majority of athletes the world over would love their careers to go on to 50. Many would be willing to do whatever it takes to get there (diet, exercise, etc.) Why is Hopkins the one that can manage it when almost no one else can?

Ever since Clottey and Mosley created the blueprints on how not to get knocked out by Pac (coverup or ride a bike), everyone else followed.

Maidana was tested by USADA after the fight and was clean. Fans of Broner were just mad that a 'punching bag' like Maidana could give him such a spanking. Grasping at straws
Funny when it came to Love everyone said he was on PEDs and was using the diuretic as a masking agent. You can not find smelling salts or any inhalants or anything you breath in such as Marijuana right away in a drug test, it comes weeks after, even if a hair test was done. Trust me I done hair drug test before, where I smoked weed and submitted hair a week later and passed.

Also lets be clear, Rios was coming up in weight, not down so it's pretty much a lame excuse. You can't fight at your last fight at 140, make weight, lose then get an even bigger fight and not take it serious enough to lose weight which should be easier because you moved up.

Maidana was getting pretty ****ed up in those championship rounds, his stamina kept fluctuating through out the fight. Broner is an idiot and never goes to the body and gets comfortable instead of putting down all stops. I will never be a fan of someone in a sport and never take it seriously.

a 50 year old who is still beating up on young strong guys in their prime shouldn't be questioning someone else.

and who has legitimately stopped guys like mosley, bradley, marquez, rios? the answer is: nobody

and pac is the second person to ever knockdown mosley.

Funny seeing these discussions happening in boxing now. It's the same sort of stuff you were seeing in cycling 10-15 years ago. In cycling, freakish performances were always being explained away with stuff like 'he has abnormally large lungs', or 'he has the same size heart as a cow'. In the end they were always shown to be dopers.

Funnily enough, the French journalists had a phrase they used to use to describe performances at the Tour de France that they believed were produced by doping. It was 'extra-terrestrial'.

Is Bernard taking tests yet? Or are people still giving him a pass because "he doesn't smoke or drink and only eats fruits and berries and drinks wheatgrass"
