Conspiracy theory of mine is they rushed the Lara ( Haymon ) / Canelo ( Strictly GB ) fight in July so Lara can pick apart Canelo which will drastically cut his marketibility going forward even if they go their separate ways Oscars left with Mares who last fight got KO and Canelo who'd have lost 2 of his last 3. Not much to work with.

      Check Mate Oscar
Yeah, Lara was pushed to Canelo fast to get him to hopefully take another boxing lesson loss, hurting his marketability. The only thing we can see is if Guys like Garcia, and thurman and Porter jump ship to HBO and goldenboy in the years to come once Floyd retires and nobody cares about Showtime boxing.

Haymon is just an adviser not a manager this is why he is able to get away with a lot of things in boxing, managers are held to strict codes of conduct when it pertains business deals, he found a loop hole to possibly avoid the muhammad ali act.

Hopkins is right. GBP has plenty of relatively known fighters already. Why do you need TR?

The problem is GBP fighters don't fight each other. When they do fight, and there's only one winner, the loser goes back to fighting cab drivers.

We haven't seen many of them in a year.

It's so ****** talking about ending the cold war when GBP fighters don't even fight each other. They're over protected. Schaefer is in the marinating business. He's a joke in this sport.

Let's not forget that. GBP is run by pure trash.
            Bingo!

This is what I been saying for years, Richard only worked with Arum again because Floyd retired, once Floyd came out of retirement he started talking **** again and getting arrogant he slammed Pacquiao and said he was on drugs and Arum didn't like that this guy Richard is a real two face, he is the one who gave Floyd a ridiculous payday just to get him out of retirement, Floyd never had any intention of fighting again but Richard gave him an offer he couldn't refuse and this is why golden boy doesn't turn over much profit or any when Floyd fights they think having Floyd under their banner will build their name, it doesn't work that way this isn't UFC or WWE nobody watches fights for Goldenboy or top rank they watch for fighters in boxing, not promotional companies. and people are ****** to blame Arum, Arum was the guy who didn't need Golden boy but Oscar apologize and so did Richard and from that day Arum put his fighters in with mainly golden boy fighters.

So this crap about Arum not copromoting is BS, its Richard and Al who don't want to co promote, and also people are forgetting Espinoza once he went to Showtime gave Arum the finger basically and never returned calls, Arum was trying to get some fights on showtime but once Espinoza a former golden boy lawyer got hired he was given the shaft. in favor of golden boy fights.

If arum is so bad why did he even bother copromoting and why is he willing to do business again with Oscar? Arum will work with you again, yet you don't want to apologize again it shows nothing but foolish pride, Me personally I know how old people are, and you will never get them to apologize to you first thats a given so you have to be the one to approach.

My father and mother were mean to me and did hurtful things to me when i was growing up but they are old now, and I learned to move forward its pathetic to dwell on the past just try to make things better for the future. Richard doesn't want to do that. He is denying us great fights.

B hop never had loyalty, if you look at his history this is the same man who sued his former trainer and basically treated the old man bouie fischer like crap over money and even kicked his own nephew out of a duplex for being late with the rent money.

Agree 100% ... Someone needs to clean house

But, ODLH (Props for trying) doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to do it. Plus, rehab doesn't rehabilitate, it starves one into submission.

ODLH's got a heck of a battle ahead of him personally, adding to that battle the one brewing within boxing and you're just asking for a relapse. I'm wishing him all the best, but he needs to pick one battle at a time until he's back on-track.
